Your “home away from home” is a charming eclectic Heaven a few miles away from sandy Ocean beaches, bustling Downtown Charleston (#1 Best Small City in the USA for 12 continuing years, #2 Best Food Destination in the USA, Best US Fishing City #12, Art events and galleries, museums and the best “Fine Dining Restaurants “ etc…) . Our home has 12 foot ceilings, multiple sets of French doors opening onto a Front Portico overlooking a small park ( “bocce”, anyone?) and a lake, all in the Heart of one of the prettiest “low country” village with restaurants, miles of waterfront trails and access to a dock ( if you are lucky you can enjoy dolphins swimming up stream ). All the rooms in the home are well furnished with eclectic furnishings and original Art. The main floor has the Master bedroom as well as living room opened to kitchen, dining room, library and front portico with sitting and dining, and the enclosed back porch ( our « outdoor dining room with barbecue grill). The upper floor has 4 bedrooms, two Jack and Jill bathrooms and the Laundry room with washer/dryer. The Lower level has our « guest or in-law suit » somewhat separated from the rest of the home. It has a kitchenette as well as a full bathroom giving easy access to a small Courtyard and our marvelous Plunge Pool. A second washer /dryer makes it easy to launder your beach towels when you come back from a day at the « beaches » ( only a few miles away are Sullivan Island and Isle of Palm’s Sandy Ocean beaches) .
