Children enjoyed fishing and crabbing on the wharf. Parents enjoyed relaxing. Decor was adorable. Would loved to have spent more time at the lodge but we went to town for Cruisin the Coast. Only downfall was the sleeping arangements. We were 3 couples but only had 2 bedrooms to accommodate. One bedroom was a twin and trundle. Kids adored the upstairs loft. The house was clean, spacious, came with everything we needed and it had a large deck off the back by a free flowing river. The property was a great fit for our family gathering. We learned about the Mississippi history during Katrina. Some of the family members were fishing off the boat dock. Good food \~ Lots of laughter \~ Great family memories !
