Charming Chalet - Breathtaking Views - Catering Options

The traditional-style chalet has three bedrooms, two shower rooms and can easily accommodate 8 people.

The chalet offers a homely feel, amazing panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the village of Morzine and ski-lifts (Pleney and Super Morzine) is only a few minutes walk away.

We are also able to provide fully catered evening meals if you don't want to eat out but also don't fancy cooking!

The space
Chalet La Boîte à Musique is a traditional wooden chalet with spacious living accommodation. The chalet is fully furnished and equipped to a high standard to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.

The accommodation is as follows:

Main Entrance Area:
Through the front door of the chalet is the entrance area which has room for leaving your coats and ski/snow boots. There is a handmade traditional ski/board rack and bench leading to the main living area.

Lounge:
Comfortable corner sofa and arm chairs with cushions, throws and large drapes. TV, DVD and video player with a selection of DVDs and videos. There is also a Sony Playstation games console and a few games.

Kitchen:
Open plan to the lounge and dining area with new fitted kitchen equipped with dishwasher, oven, gas hob and all essential kitchen items and utensils.

Dining Area:
Large handmade ash family dining table and chairs, authentic oak beams and wood panelled walls and ceiling. The view from the dining room window is absolutely stunning and looks across the town of Morzine and the mountains beyond.

Hallway:
Leading to the bedrooms and main shower room with authentic wood panelling.

Bedroom 1:
Two single beds with en-suite shower room, wash-hand basin and WC. Sleeps 2.

Bedroom 2:
One set of single bunk beds. Sleeps 2.

Bedroom 3:
Family room with two single beds and one set of single bunk beds. Sleeps 4.

Main Shower room:
Large shower room with luxury shower, wash-hand basin and WC.

Terrace:
The chalet has a large terrace overlooking the beautiful Savoyard village of Morzine which is perfect for enjoying al fresco eating during the summer months.

The View:
The chalet provides some breath-taking views over the village of Morzine and also the stunning mountains of Super Morzine and Ressachaux as well as the cliffs of Avoriaz.

Garden:
The chalet has it's own large private garden. During the summer the garden is a great place for children and adults to play!

Guest access:
Guests will be sent a detailed Welcome Pack prior to their stay which has all the necessary information they need for their stay.

Other things to note
We employ a local French couple, Carol and Fred, to manage the chalet on our behalf. In November 2014 they sold their very successful restaurant, La Case K2 in Les Gets, in order to set up their chalet management business. As well as managing Chalet La Boîte à Musique on a weekly basis they are also able to offer a number of additional services to our guests, including airport transfers and cooking evening meals for you and delivering them to the chalet so you can relax after a day enjoying the mountains.
