About this property
Historic Downtown Morganton Loft w/ Original 1900's Charm/Walk/Shop/Dine
Charming 2BR/1.5BA loft on the 2nd level of a beautifully renovated 1900s building in the heart of Downtown Morganton. The larger of two lofts in the building, featuring original exposed brick, wood floors, and open rafters blended with modern comforts. Fully equipped kitchen, large sectional, and built-in workspace. Two king bedrooms and local folk art throughout. Easy private parking behind the building. Walk to shops, restaurants, and more. Since we are located above a yoga studio and next to other businesses and residences, please be mindful of the noise. There is one other loft in the building and the stairwell area carries quite a bit of noise so please be mindful of the other guests when entering or leaving the building. Thank you!

The loft was amazing, we had family in town and this was the perfect place to host them, so easy to walk around downtown and the property was clean, well equipped and had everything you need for a relaxing getaway.
Absolutely beautiful apartment, location is perfect for exploring Morganton, and the property manager / owner were stellar. 10/10 would book again. P.S. interior of the apartment is something out of a magazine, it’s literally perfect.
Great space with thoughtful details throughout. Downtown location perfect for walking around, visiting breweries, restaurants and shopping. Perfect getaway.
This is my favorite spot in Morganton and my second stay and I will be back!
This is such a beautiful, open and comfortable space right in the heart of downtown Morganton. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. We love this place so much and will definitely be back!
We had a great experience staying in the loft in downtown Morganton. The location was great for dining and local entertainment. The property was well appointed and very comfortable. I highly recommend this property.
Great location! Even better than pictures and description. Perfect location! Host was quick to respond to any questions we had. Would highly recommend!
Though our stay was short, we didn’t want to leave. The unit was very well kept and in a perfect location. Karen was an excellent host and quick to respond.
We had a wonderful visit to downtown Morganton. Three generations (grandma, two daughters, and one granddaughter) enjoyed the spacious loft, comfy couch, and great kitchen for cooking. We loved walking to shops, restaurants, and great coffee just across the street from the loft.
This loft was absolutely incredible. I was able to experience my hometown at an elevated level! Walking distance to the best food and beverage in town!
My co-workers/friends and I had business in town, so we rented this VRBO. What a fantastic home! It was modern, clean, and convenient. We loved it, and if you are looking for a place to stay in the area, we all highly recommend this location. The owner was always quick to respond, and we appreciated how easy it was to book, check-in, and check-out. Five stars all the way!
We loved spending the weekend in this downtown loft. It has everything you need to stay in for the night but also convenient if you want to go out and be social. Our small family gathering enjoyed watching football, eating and gathering. This was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy each other's company. This property manager was excellent, they have everything you need to just show up and relax! An excellent choice of traveling to Morganton.
I loved this property and will definitely be back. We enjoyed our Thanksgiving break here and had so much fun walking to all of our favorite places in town - Swede's for breakfast, Libba's for shopping, Brown Mountain Bottleworks and Fonta Flora for beverages and Food Matters for groceries (and lunch!) It's a wonderful kitchen for cooking with the perfect island for snacks, cocktails and conversations. I love the overall aesthetic, it has everything you need to be comfortable. The beds were very cozy and I slept so well. We made many good memories as a family here. Super grateful!
We absolutely LOVED our stay at the downtown loft. The location was perfect and we could walk to everything. Morganton is incredibly charming and the people are really friendly. The property was absolutely gorgeous. I love the art and how spacious it is. The furnishings were high quality as well. One small constructive criticism... the kitchen could use steak knives and prep knives. We ordered take out and had to cut steaks with a butter knife. We also had nothing to chop onions with for our omelets. And the toilet paper....way too thin. :)
