It was conveniently located between Blue Ridge and Blairsville. There was plently good shopping (especially in Blairsville) and the guys liked the golf course there (Butternut Creek). And how often do you get to see scarecrows and a 406-pound pumpkin on the square. The house itself was very clean with an easy in/out drive and plenty of firewood. Thank you. The kitchen is not super well equipped; it could use some pots/pans, wine glasses, more utensils and some lighter weight dishware.. The bedrooms are good sized with one bedroom on each of the 3 floors (lots of steps). The upstairs bath has no shower. There are queen beds upstairs and downstairs. There's a king on the main level, right off the kitchen, so a bit noisy. The couch and chairs are very comfortable, great seating for 4-5 people. The neighborhood was very nice, and the surrounding area had plenty to offer. Five of us stayed there on a rainy week. The fireplace was a welcome attraction. The signs indicated using a remote, but actually it is wired directly into the unit at the bottom right hand corner of the fireplace a box with a switch, not a remote. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked, including with lots of spices and salt and pepper. ##### Bob S.
