Staying in Ferney costs a fraction of what it costs to stay in Geneva and work a couple of different entry points to Geneva you are close to everything, CERN or the lake. "This is amazing hotel within the medieval city of Yvoire. Clean, comfy beds, beautiful room and wonderful staff. We highly recommended this hotel. However, parking is an issue. They offer parking for 10 euros per day, or you can find parking in the public lot for 3 euros per day. Either way, it is a but of a walk to get to the hotel. Anyone with mobility issues may find it difficult, especially with baggage. "

"The room was nice and clean although the pillow was too soft for my liking, they do provide an extra pillow however. The breakfast was average ( boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, croissant, pain au chocolate, tea coffee, water, bread cheese, fruit and yoghurt). To get to Geneva city centre there is the number 64 bus next to the hotel which takes you to a tram which you then board to get to Geneva Cornavin. To get to the airport, the hotel provided me with a link to book the shuttle bus which cost €30 for 2 people with small luggages. In the bathroom there is only showergel and you need to close the toilet lid for it to flush properly. All in all fine for a 1 night stay before going to the airport "
