Triplett Creek Cabin Rental with Scenic Views – Near Cave Run Lake!

  • Relax and enjoy the scenic views of water and woodland in a private setting in Morehead, KY. Come enjoy the Cabin that is conveniently located, but inspires the feeling of getting away.

    The Cabin is known for its setting on the bend of Triplett Creek. The view is always relaxing and especially enjoyed from the screened-in porch on the ground floor. The studio living area on the second floor features a queen bed, full futon sofa bed, kitchen, table and chairs, separate bathroom with shower/tub unit and washer/dryer. There is an outdoor picnic table with fire pit and seating.

    Welcome Guide:
    The welcome guide is automatically sent 72 hours before arrival. The hose will contact you the day before arrival to share access details and answer any questions you may have. You will be able to check in using keyless entry. Early check-in might be possible before 3PM. Check-out is by 11AM, with instructions available on site. There is no extra cleaning fee.

    Parking:
    There is ample parking for vehicles, as well as a boat.

Our host let us know they were available for any needs. The cabin was so clean and stocked for your every need. The weather wasn't cooperating for our planned fishing trip (continuously rained & cold), but they had several games upstairs, not to mention the awesome screened downstairs with corn hole, and sitting area with a grill. We still had a great time with our grandson!

Perfect place and location. Cabin was just as described. Plenty of outdoor space and it was very clean. The fire pit was the highlight for us overlooking the water. Quiet and only 10 min from Morehead on the interstate. We’ll be back for sure.

The rental was very clean and had some nice features that we didn’t even have to use, such as , the screened in patio and the outdoor fire pit and seating. Great place for couples or small families.

Super cute and quaint. Came in early spring when it was still cold so looking forward to returning in the warmer months to enjoy the screened-in porch area and fire pit. Cabin had everything we needed for our weekend stay to visit our daughters going to school at the local university. They came out and hung out with us, and I loved having the opportunity to be away from home yet still make them a home cooked meal.

amazing relaxation atmosphere

Stayed the weekend for my child's graduation from MSU Craft Academy. With the busy and stressful time for awards, moving them out, and graduation. Then Mother's Day. Was a great place to just sit back and relax, and enjoy the sounds of the creek and nature. Was amazed at how peaceful it was even though wasn't to far off the main road, and local stores. Can't wait to plan a trip back without the kids!

Nice little cabin with a water view. Very clean! Owner called and let us know check in details. The fire ring outside was very nice. Lots of towels! Only suggestion might be to offer a bundle of firewood for additional cost. We gathered up some stucks and made one though.

Fit our needs exactly. My wife and I had a quick 2 night paddle boarding get away at Cave Run Lake. Very convenient location to the lake. Cabin is a beautiful and peaceful setting on the creek, clean, just the right amount of space for the two of us and well stocked. Loved having the screened in area also. Check-in and out was simple and easy. We like renting from people rather than corporations. This was a joy.

Cute, cozy little cabin

Weekend stay with my daughters and we all thought it was a great little place. It's surrounded by nature, super clean, and hosts were accommodating. Kitchen is cute and has everything you need, plenty of bath towels and linens, some extras like games, soap, coffee pods, etc. We spent hours on the screened porch eating and playing games - plenty of seating and lights outside. Easy access to lake, MSU campus, and stores. Wifi worked well but we had no cell service. Also couldn't find a place selling fire wood nearby so we could enjoy the fire pit - but am sure there are some. The only suggestion I'd have is for window treatments for all windows...the sun lights up the whole place in the morning (which is beautiful but also teens like to sleep, haha)! Overall, nice getaway, would definitely recommend!
