The cottage can house 4 people comfortably, and I just recently replaced the couch with a sleeper sofa that can accommodate 2 additional guests. It is in a transitional neighborhood and within walking distance of the Calico Creek Boardwalk/Bird Sanctuary and Morehead City Waterfront where the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament and NC Seafood Festival are held each year. Many other water accesses are close by, including the Intracoastal Waterway and sandy beaches overlooking it. Historic Beaufort is 9 minutes away by car. The cottage is equipped with a full kitchen, high speed internet, and 3 smart TVs. There is also a gas grill and all kinds of equipment to enjoy the beach or try your hand at catching fish or crabs. Bring your boat as there is parking space for 3 cars and a boat with trailer. Well behaved pets are welcome for an extra fee. If you would like to let them outside for a while unleashed, the enclosed garage has a doggie door that leads into a small fenced-in area outside. There is also an off-leash dog park at the Rotary Park Dog Park a few miles away from the cottage. It was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need from linens to dishes and cookware. Our children LOVED the house and can't wait to visit again.
