"We arrived at 1:00pm and thought we would get lunch at the hotel. Their restaurant/bar were closed until 5. We were woken at 11:30pm that night with a fire alarm. We had smelt a sewer smell in the hallway all day and reported it. I called about the fire alarm and was told I could stay in my room because it only went off due to someone lighting a cigarette in the men's bathroom. Would not recommend this hotel."

"Breakfast menu is not as good as it used to be. Juices appear to be watered down a bit. Very basic. Disappointed that channels available are not varied. For instance I watch Ian Hanomansing on cbc every night. Canadian channel was not on the tv. There were some cbc channels but not the national. My husband watches cnn and other us news channels. Not available anymore. "

"I appreciate this is an aging hotel and it's been 5 years since I stayed here previously but absolutely nothing has been done and it was showing it's age 5 years ago. There is a reason why the hotel was de-branded by Delta. On a positive note the location is great and I HOPE they do re-invest this property and make it great again because it can be. "

"The hotel was lovely. The rooms are small with not a lot of room to relax or use the desk provided. The showers are small and water leaked everywhere. The bathroom shelf was tilted so things kept falling off. The service was incredible. I did like the experience of staying in a historical, beautiful hotel. "

"Free parking and breakfast was included. Not a cold continental but a hot breakfast, very nice."

"The room was very small. The temperature controls were useless, despite setting the room to the lowest temperature the room was so hot my partner I barley slept at all. THERE IS A GLASS WINDOW THAT LOOKS INTO THE SHOWER AND BATHROOM FROM THE BED AREA OF THE ROOM. ZERO PRIVACY, UNACCEPTABLE. I feel like this should be disclosed when booking. Also the bathroom is very loud and echoes through the rest of the room. If you value privacy this is not the place for you. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were horrible. Next time we will commute at 3am for our flight rather than staying here."

"The fireplace was warm and added charm to the space. Everything extremely clean and pleasing to the eye. The kitchen has everything you would need. Staff were very helpful when we had questions."
