"Resonable stayover, older hotel to rest on your travel journey or sightsee in the region. Improvements occuring with added outdoor areas. Main St position great for shops and a transport spot nearby. Cold drinks. Menu for dining had extensive list of food choices, very tasty food and a plentiful amount for the very hungry. Staff helpful and obliging. Breakfast, light options included and appreciated. Basic clean small bedroom. Double storey. Steep stairs to top floor rooms. Clean fresh bathrooms in corridors for sharing."

"Great place for a bird watching or hiking trip. Lovely property with lots of walking trails. Host David was very knowledgeable and helpful. We bought all our food as it’s a bit of a drive into the closest town."

"Old country style pub accommodation with shared bathroom facilities. Restaurant attached inside the hotel serves a good selection of meals. Would recommend the seafood basket. I also managed to consume fresh oysters in chili lime sauce. Nothing like enjoying a beer outside late afternoon."
