"Wir hatten um den Gastgeber erreichen zu können die Buchungshotline kontaktieren müssen. Nur so gab es kurzen Kontakt zum Check-in, weitere Fragen wurden dann wieder nicht beantwortet. Die Wohnung wirkt zwar renoviert, das Sofa ist nicht mehr schön. Die Betten sind weich und mittig durchgelegen. Die Dusche hat wenig Wasserdruck. "Schreckliche Unterkunft. Wir sind vorzeitig abgereist. Die Bettwäsche und die Handtücher haben extrem gestunken, sodass wir während des Aufenthalts unsere eigenen Badetücher als Decke benutzen mussten. Geputzt wurde vor unserer auch nicht. Küchenutensilien waren nicht sauber und Ausstattung völlig unzureichend. Das Bad hat extrem geschimmelt und der Duschhahn war aus der Wand gerissen. Das ganze Haus ist in einem desolaten Zustand. "

"Lovely elegant old hotel that has been modernised over time. Spacious, clean bedroom and ensuite, very comfortable beds. Quiet and private, with a delicious breakfast on offer. Hotel staff friendly and helpful, very effective air conditioning. Well located hotel with nearby parking available, would highly recommend and would love to stay again :)"

"Checkin was a disaster compounded by unnecessary surliness and incompetence. They demand a 24 hour pre check in online and I did that noting that I would stop by at 1 pm to drop bags and avail myself of their luggage storage option. I received an email back thanking me for pre-check in. I showed up at 3 pm and there was a family from Montreal also looking to check in early. The phone didn’t pick up then a random guy came and accosted us for being early and I explained I spelled it out in the pre check in. He said to give him 5 minutes. That turned into fifteen minutes and then some other guy showed up and accosted us again and shut the door and left us out on the street in the hot weather. I found his language to be rude and abrasive as did the Montreal family. Finally some hotel guests took pity on us and let us in and showed us where the luggage storage was and we went to get some water nearby (why that was so difficult for the hotel staff Ill never know). I don’t know why they bother with the pre-registration kabuki. Then my room didn’t have a frying pan but there was a whisk and a spatula. After three days I gave up asking. It’s unfortunate because it’s a nicely renovated old building in a convenient spot though it was interesting that they have a placard at the front desk advising guests not to argue with staff so somehow the surliness is built into the hospitality illusion they offer. It was like a surly Fawlty Towers Totally uncalled for. C’est dommage."
