"This is a Hilton and Hiltons in so many parts if the world so often have the drawbacks of their American corporate parent … like charging to much for amenities. Really annoying. Also, the location isn’t great. I did think that the staff was very good … particularly liked the front desk person who spoke a number of languages and was currently studying d Chinese. So, as is often the case, people make up for some deficiencies in other areas. I should add that there did not seem to be better options in Évora location wise."

I would also recommend making time to just be in the house, and enjoy what it has to offer. I don't have any complaints and was only disappointed we didn't get to meet the host in person."

Staff member will show you where to park on a map. Breakfast was good. Room with city view was great in a very cool historic building. Room A/C was very weak but after a few hours the room was comfortable. Mattress was great, room was clean, all good."
