Central hotel ideal for sightseeing

Posted 22-Sep-2017
Pros: Hotel is easily reached from the Gare du Nord terminus of Eurostar and offers an ideal base from which to explore Paris. Reception is staffed 24/7.
Cons: The plumbing and electrics caused problems . My toilet ceased to flush and I was moved to a new room where the bathroom lights did not work.
Location: Lots of places to eat/drink nearby and public transport is convenient. Montmartre is close.
The hotel offers reasonably priced rooms but there did seem to be several defects which need sorting. The basic buffet breakfast is overpriced at 14 Euro The electronic lock on my friend's room failed but was fixed by the staff.

Great for walks and cafes for French breakfasts

Posted 14-Sep-2017
Hotel was great in terms of location, not too far from the city centre and the Eiffel tower. Breakfast outside of the hotel is better, plus with so much choice you won't want to stay in the hotel to eat in the morning. Beds are comfy, bathroom was pretty standard. Front desk were amazing, very friendly and helpful, the locals are a lovely bunch too However the curtains were dusty, white netting curtain was dirty and the general appearance could be better, a little dusty behind doors and under the bed but for a 3* it's not bad, you get what you pay for.

Traditional hotel

Posted 09-Sep-2017
Pros: Staff very pleasant and helpful
Cons: AC in room and more hot water
Location: Lots of local shops and cafes. Close to metro station and Sacre Coeur a short walk away.
Old fashioned, traditional hotel. Room clean and comfy, but no AC and not much hot water in the shower. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Didn't pay extra for breakfast - lots of local cafes where you can eat for cheaper. Close to metro station, but need to change line to get to most sights. Sacre Coeur close by with amazing views over Paris. As a single person, felt a little uncomfortable in the neighbourhood after dark.

Excellent Hotel in 18 district.

Posted 07-Jul-2017
Pros: Everything
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: There are good restaurants, and the touristy part of Momart(old France)great!
My experience at this hotel was exceptional, especially because of the best and friendliest staff I've had the pleasure to meet at any hotel I've ever stayed at. A huge bouquet goes out to JF for all his help. He is exceptionally, service oriented, knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel itself and rooms are clean and well looked after. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who wants value and does not mind staying a little farther out in a good immigrant type neighborhood.

Not the best

Close to convenient stores that are open late, train stops and Sacre Cour area. However elevatore barely fits 2 people and found a few small ants around the room. Streets around were not clean.

I had a good stay. The staff is extra polite and well versed in English. They try to help you to the extent possible.pretty nice place for the price and good value for money. Very close (100 mtrs perhaps) to mercadet poisseners metro station. However you need to take care to come out from a specific exit else it might take you in wrong direction. A super market is also close by to buy salads and perhaps french version of baked beans.

The Hotel was situated in an old House and had a beautiful small elevator, the rooms are nicely furnished and the service was excellent. It is very near to Mont Matre and wehada beautiful look overthe city.
