"Beautiful place to stay"

"My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us and 2 dogs. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The kitchen and living room is large, plus the back deck is beautiful. I could tell from the pictures and actually seeing the house that this property suffered damage from the hurricane in 2024. The back deck is large and comfortable. The covered pool was enjoyed by all of us. We didn't get to find the path to the dock from the back of the property because there were a few large trees down, but the "guys" still got to fish and see the water after talking to the hostess. The game room was great too! It provided a lot of entertainment with the dart board, foosball table, and a selection of books and magazines. It also had its own TV for the younger folks in our party. Speaking of the hostess, Penny was lovely. I communicated to her via email, plus talked to her on the phone. She was very helpful and flexible.If we ever have to go back to the area, we will definitely consider renting this property again. Oh, the one thing that may want to be checked is the electricity in the pool house. We were swimming at night and the lights towards the end of the pool worked, but we couldn't find where to turn the lights on in the pool or for the front part of the pool. All in all, it was a great weekend for my family and me. It was a hot one, but we got to enjoy the spacious home and the pool was a big hit! "

"My husband and I had a great experience here. Minor hiccup with checking into the townhome, but the host was quick to remedy the situation. The townhome is really nice, clean, and quiet. The location is right on the lake and a short commute to the state parks. We enjoyed our time here and look forward to booking here in the future. Thank you for allowing us to stay. "

"The location for this rental was perfect. My father and I stayed here for a 4 day fishing trip and enjoyed it immensely. House was very clean and had great AC, but kitchen can be scarce so if you decide to do a lot of cooking I would bring what you need. The woods surrounding the property are gorgeous, I always enjoyed the walk down to the dock. I would note its a bit steep and some of the steps are loose so be careful. The dock is covered, all aluminum, and has power avalaible which made it perfect for our fishing boat, just mind the orb weevers. I reccomend this house to anyone doing a fishing trip on the Savannah, lots of great fishing right out in the cove, and very little boat traffic. "

"Very comfortable home. Great location for our attending the Little Roy and Lizzie BlueGrass Festival. Not a lot of restaurant options so might be best to bring some meals with you. "
