"The view from the lake-facing room was amazing! Our room was comfortable and clean; the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is walking distance from two train stations, Epesses and Cully, with great rail connections. The road and railway traffic is pretty noisy and constant. Parking is limited. Overall a great place to stay, with easy connections/drive to Lausanne, Vevey, Montreux and Geneva."

"What a great hotel! It felt very luxurious and was quite relaxing just off the lake but with some breathtaking views. Very walkable to the center of Evian and nearby ferry to Lausanne, which made a great day trip. The staff was very professional and helpful. The pool was magnificent. "To be clear, review based on the annex and accepting it is economy accommodation, the main building (400 yards away looked like a very different story. Firstly, no towels in the room, you had to guess and found some in a sort of open scullery along the corridor. There was no proper lighting in the room, just a plug in up lighter lamp and in the morning, no hot water in the shared shower. Informed receptionist who said ‘okay, thanks’ so probably not an unknown issue. The annex was pretty clean but tired and shabby. Breakfast in the main building was ok/adequate, the setting is absolutely gorgeous. Just a one night stop off to break journey so served a purpose but wouldn’t stay there again, better spend another £40 somewhere for something better - with hot water!"

"Location was great for the main sights. Parking on site. Room was serviceable with comfortable bedding. Decent counter space and a fun close-up lighted make-up mirror for eyeliner application and/or eyebrow plucking. Room was a bit warm and could not be adjusted, which is environmentally great but a bit tough on weary travellers. I did manage to flood the bathroom when I showered the first day, but what is a vacation without a minor disaster, am I right?!"
