The house is located in the quiet town of Montgomery Creek close to the Burney Falls, Pit river, Hat creek, Lassen Volcanic National park, and many more beautiful areas for you to enjoy. The house is fully furnished and has a deck for entertainment. There are 2 more homes on the property, one of those we live ourselves so we are always available when something is needed. It was a great place to stay and close to the site I was working at. Peaceful and beautiful place to stay. My wife and I enjoyed it. Nice views and plenty of wildlife to enjoy.
The property is located on 2 acre land with apple trees, a pond, game room and the beautiful terrace home. Deers wonder around the property all day long which was a lovely site for kids and adults equally.
The house was cozy and comfy. Nicole had turned on the fire before our arrival that made our arrival and evening stay very comfortable. Nicole was very prompt in answering questions and providing support we needed.
The only feedback is that bunk bed bedroom gets very cold at night. It might be helpful to leave a spare heater in that room.
Very unique setting. The view was amazing. So peaceful. Had everything we needed

We had a great experience! The property is stunning, peaceful & relaxing. The house is nothing fancy but has the tools you need for cooking, a beautiful deck & lots of games for the kids. We enjoyed both hikes on the property--about a mile each. I'm looking forward to going back!
Beautiful property with amazing views, well kept, perfect for those that loves the outdoors and nature. Our small group of fisherman do an annual fishing trip to the mt. Shasta area every year, this property was perfect for our needs. Out in nature, yet close enough the best rivers in the state! If you love nature this is the place for you! Great place and wonderful property owners! We had a great time, thank you!
Just a great place to stay! Beautiful scenery, plenty of room. Breathtaking hiking trails. Quiet and private. Great hosts. Nothing much more to say. I would stay here again if I’m ever in the Redding or Burney areas. My only critique is the lack of internet, but it didn’t detract much from the stay. It’s a very peaceful getaway worth every penny spent!
Great place to stay with the family when visiting Lassen and Burney falls. The property itself has amazing views and nice short trails to walk around. The gym/game room was an added plus.
Our host went out of her way! When switching out a dvd which wasn't working, we asked if there any near by markets. We needed a bottle of wine and some stomach medicine. When told it was a distance away, we decided to wait. A few minutes later our host knocked on the door with a bottle of wine and the stomach medicine we needed. The next day a cell phone was lost on a hike on the property and again it was our host who found and returned it to us. In addition, the property fit our needs perfectly and we were quite comfortable.
This is a great get away place. My family and I had a great time here. It is a very calm and serene place and has a great sunset view. There are also herds of deers that welcome you.
The property was gorgeous! We had four bedrooms that fit all of us. The swap cooler kept everything nice and cool for us. The hosts were really nice and very responsive to all our questions. We will be back!
We (my wife and I, and our three kids ages 4/6/7) stayed in the Terrace House, and had a fantastic time. We walked both trails on the property, picked a bag full of ripe blackberries off the canes growing everywhere (mid-July). We had great family time playing board games, and going on adventures to the many excursions nearby (Shasta caverns, Shasta Dam, Potem Falls, Montgomery Creek Falls, Burney Falls, McCloud Falls, Lassen National Park). Really enjoyed our time there, they're doing a great job with their beautiful property!
Very off the beat and path but well worth the effort. Our hosts were great, there if you needed anything or had any questions. This was in a great central location for the day trips we wanted to take. We enjoyed exploring the wonderful property in the evenings after being out all day. The property would probably be difficult to find at night so I would recommend arriving during daylight.
