Renters ought to be aware that it is not located in the Montezuma town, but a 2-3 km walk up steep hills from the beach. Our group was able to do the walk, but many would find it difficult without a vehicle."

The check in process wasn't smooth and there was no information in the place about wifi code, where to put garbage, etc. The layout of the place was vey disconnected which is not conducive for a family with young children. The owner, Mike, lacked in communication, multiple attempts to contact for confirmation, checking in and directions was frustrating. 40 mins prior our arrival he notified me via VRBO messaging that our room wasn’t available and moved us to a comparable room.
