"While the bungalows may be on the rustic side, it is authentic and functional - and the setting is absolutely unmatched. The small pool at the centre of the compound is a Costa Rican paradise. Renters ought to be aware that it is not located in the Montezuma town, but a 2-3 km walk up steep hills from the beach. Our group was able to do the walk, but many would find it difficult without a vehicle."

"The property and bungalow are amazing! We really enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen, relaxing by the pool, and the short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. "The room was lovely and the people we met staying there were very nice! There is a very cute cat on the property who will often say hi. The location is great, there's a restaurant just down the hill that is open from early to late with breakfast, dinner, and drinks. The Santa Teresa beach is just beyond that. Less than 5 min walk. Brandon went out of his way to make us a last-minute dinner reservation on the beach at Uma's when we arrived later than we had expected. We definitely recommend this hotel for couples looking for a romantic private retreat. We only wish that they offered food and had a bar so you could just enjoy the property without leaving.
