"Ronald was a fantastic and friendly host who made us very welcome for our week's holiday based in Nîmes. There was everything we needed, a comfortable bed, very hot water for showers, a lovey private patio to relax in and the kitchen was well equipped too. A short walk in to town was combined with us regularly using the number 7 bus to the centre and to the rail station for our day trips. We downloaded the Nîmes Tango app to get the bus timetable and the local Tabac sold us a 10 ticket pass to...

"We have stayed in enough Best Western hotels in Europe now that we have joined their rewards program. Rather than being cookie cutter hotels, we have found many fascinating, unique historic properties. This was the actual mansion where my ancestors met with, and likely spent nights with le Marquis de Baume! Our room was spacious, and the front desk was quickly responsive when we thought a light fixture was broken. They cheerfully offered to move us, but we decided to stay to enjoy the nice bathtub. And then we accidentally discovered how to turn the light on. The front desk girl (sorry, forgot her name) was sweet and helpful. The dining and breakfast rooms were outstandingly beautiful historic spaces. It's the most beautiful staircase I've ever seen! The elevator and A/C were also greatly appreciated. The only drawback was parking. A common problem in European cities. My husband was told that the lot was just at the end of the street, but he said it was actually a mile away, so I don't know if he just missed the intended parking lot, so perhaps a little map to hand out would be helpful."

"Staying here was a positive experience.: It is located less than 100 metres from the Maison Carrée in a beautiful well-maintained pedestrianised square with a couple of lively restaurants There are more tha enough staff who are friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and well-maintained. I would definitely stay here again. However before booking be aware that: Rooms are on first and second floors and there is no lift There was no refigerator in our room, though reception was handing out chilled water on demand Therefore it would not be ideal for anyone with limited mobility"

"Die Unterkunft war absolut hervorragend! Ein Traum von Aufenthalt für große Familien. Wir waren hier mit 10 Erwachsenen und 5 Kindern. Der Pool war riesig. Einfach genügend Platz und Raum im Haus und drumherum. Herrlich! Kann ich bestens empfehlen."

"Helpful staff in all areas reception and bar. Thev breakfast was a bit off as a coach party were in at 6:30 am and had cleaned it out by 7:15. Evening food ok but not as good as we have had at other Logis de France. Again the hotel seems aim at the coach party market. Hotel fabric was a bit tired and needs an upgrade, bath replaced by shower, USB charging points, electric car points in car park etc. One note was that the bath towels were very thin."
