Lovely hotel set in a quiet little town. Loved the art deco style, furniture and our large upgraded room. Staff were really friendly and professional. Only stayed one night but will definitely stay longer next time. Highly recommended!

Very friendly, helpful service throughout. The room smelled a bit musty, but other than that, we were extremely satisfied with cleanliness. Good breakfast.

Beautiful clean room with lovely mid century furniture. Extremely spacious and well appointed. The staff could not do enough. From carrying our luggage, setting the television to our liking or proving us with sparkling clean towels for the pool the surroundings are so peaceful, the patios are shaded havens of calm and serenity. The breakfast was lovely sitting under the shade of enormous trees accompanied by the happy chatter of birds

Nice and neat property. Food was good, great grounds and gardens . Whilst it has History and character it lacks just that little something that would take it to the next level. But great value for money we would definately stay there again.

We had a large apartment, double bed and single bed, that looks ADA equipped. It was just the two of us but that was the only room available. The hotel is essentially in the middle of a small town with a bunch of local stores (including KFC) up and down the street. It seems safe enough to walk around but not much to see. The bird hide was disappointing. Bed was comfortable. Lighting was so-so, not so good mirror for makeup. Shower was good but not enclosed. Didn’t sample the unheated pool but heard kids in there. We decided to eat outside the hotel and had dinner at the Purple Pickle next door and it was good and cheap. Had breakfast at Barn at 62 and that was great! Best avo toast I’ve had.

Great hotel

Wonderful stay, the room was very large and comfortable. Great terrace and bar area to relax. Restaurant was excellent both for dinner and the included breakfast. Loved the art deco theme and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Will definately be back.

Lovely, comfortable stay at Montagu Country Hotel

Amazing night spent here, and we will definitely visit again. Thank you for the upgrade, always-friendly service & letting us stay on site for a while to work remotely. Also, we loved our feline sentry on site... felt like Royalty being protected by Kitty ! 😺 😻
