It is ideal for a total of 6 persons, be it a large family, two smaller families or a group traveling together. Montpézat is a typical Provençal village, situated at the beginning of the Gorges du Verdon. You can go canoeing down the wild ravines, characterized by unspoiled nature. If you're here in spring, remember to soak up the wonderful colors and scents of the lavender fields. The town center at 0.3 km is great to stroll in the evening and to enjoy the streetscape. Supermarkets rest at 1.5 km and restaurants are at 6 km. The morning starts best on the private roofed terrace, admiring the views across lake Le Verdon with a cup of coffee. In the private, fenced garden with colorful flowers, you can relax while children romp and play to their heart's content. You can enjoy barbecue evenings and end your day in style. The view of the valley and lake was stunning and the pool was clean and a good size. There is a supermarket in Riez, nothing much in the village. We visited Moustiers-Sainte-Claire and walked near Bouduen, went down the Gorges de Baudinard (recommend Base Jannick for this, which is a 5 minute drive from the villa) and had a lovely meal at Sainte Croix de Verdon. We also drove along the Route de Cretes with its dramatic views of the gorge. Roland was very helpful throughout. It was a great holiday. ##### Barbara W. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, der Garten ist sehr schön, der Pool bietet Erfrischung für heiße Tage und der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist einfach wunderbar. Sehr angenehm war ebenfalls die Betreuung des Ferienhauses durch Roland. An- und Abreise ist völlig unkompliziert aufgrund der Flexibilität von Roland, der sich auch sonst um alle Belange kümmert, jederzeit erreichbar ist und Haus und Garten in einem sehr erfreulichen Zustand hält. Abseits vom allgemein üblichen Trubel ist dieses Ferienhaus ein kleine Oase. Inmitten der Natur gelegen ist dies ein wunderschöner Ort zum Entschleunigen. Wer Party und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sucht, muss etwas fahren aber dafür gibt es Erholung vom Alltag in einem sehr gepflegten Haus mit ebenso gepflegtem Garten und Pool. We zijn net terug na een deugddoende vakantie. Het huis voldeed aan alle verwachtingen. Het was proper en gezellig ingericht. De boeken en cd’s op de plank in de woonkamer gaven direct een huiselijk gevoel. De ruime en goed uitgeruste keuken zorgde voor aangename kookmomenten met de kinderen. De kamers waren groot genoeg en hadden allen een vliegenraam. De tweede kleinere badkamer met douche was voor ons heel handig meegenomen. De ontvangst in het Nederland was direct en aangenaam. Bij problemen allerhande konden we deze hulplijn inschakelen. Deze hadden we gelukkig niet nodig. Het uitzicht is prachtig. Een korte wandeling brengt je via de achterkant van het huis naar het meer. De tuin is ruim en voldoende onderhouden. De vele hoekjes om te zitten zorgen voor leuke avondgesprekken. Er zijn buren links en rechts maar de privacy is heel groot. Het zwembad is nieuw en kan niet beter, het tennisplein zal de geoefende speler wel wat ergeren door de niet zo effen betonnen ondergrond maar is heerlijk om met de kinderen een balletje te slaan. Het gastenverblijf was iets minder in vergelijking met de rest. Die badkamer was niet luxueus en het rook er niet altijd even fris. De jeugd vond er wel hun eigen hoekje als ze even geen wifi nodig hadden, in het huis werkt deze wel behoorlijk. De ligging vonden wij ideaal. Net boven het huis is een leuk dorpje leuk voor een korte avondwandeling. Langs de anderen kant kan je aan het meer iets drinken. Riez en het grote meer liggen op een kwartier tussen de lavendelvelden.
