The hospitality was unique and we got a lot of recommendations for fantastic walks in Valtellina's vineyards, restaurants, etc. The breakfast, cleaning and the service we experienced was extraordinary. "Luxury accomodations right next to the river and bike path through the region - the host was wonderful and the decor was beautiful. The large grounds were full of areas to relax - veranda with wine grape vines, fruit trees, tasteful landscaping in an area tucked into farmland without the feeling of being crammed into the city. The bedding was lux and comfy and the breakfast had fresh cakes, pastries, muesli, boiled eggs on tiny nests, cheeses and gourmet cured meats - even walnuts to crack....

"My wife and I were on our way to Bolzano, and fortunately found this place, secluded up the mountainside. Our hosts were gracious and very accommodating. The views of the valley below were breathtaking. We drove the 1 chilometer to the old church up the hill, and also we went to the little church at the top of the mountain. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place!"

"We paid almost $200 for the room for one night and they put us in a room in the back of the hotel where we had to climb up and down ladders to get to, even though the hotel had a very low occupancy rate. In my opinion, if they ever wanted us to return to their hotel in the future, they could have upgraded our room. On the plus side, they did have a shuttle to take us from and to the train station."
