We had a car. Not sure how convenient would be if only public transport to get into Nantes which is 9.2 k away.
Lovely conference hotel.
Staff fab and room lovely.
Only niggle would be only access room from 4.00 pm but you can use the pool so only little niggle.
Breakfast would be nice if set up rather than large round table where you have to get your own cutlery and food on a tray but again just a small niggle

The hotel was well maintained with colourful decor. There was a good choice at breakfast and the available water was well thought of. The hotel's greatest advantage though was proximity to the train station. I'd have no hesitation in staying again.

"Good things: swimming pool and hot tub, spacious for 12 of us. The lake at Coco plage is lovely. Not so good: no responses to my messages before our stay therefore confusion over bed linen. "A very pleasant stay at Gite du Jouteau with our family of eleven, our ages ranged from 9 to 76. Surprisingly the indoor pool was a bonus with temps in the mid 30s during our stay allowing us to cool off easily. Very quiet area and a relaxing stay in the Sarthe region of France."
