Heated pool & Spa! Basement Game Room Now Open!!! Enjoy your very own LAKEFRONT GETAWAY with a host of amenities and loads of space to work from home with fast internet (311 Mbps)! A beautifully landscaped lawn with a Goldilocks-sized in-ground heated pool (open April-October but please check in with us early and late in the season to make sure) and hot tub/spa (open year round). Outdoor deck with BBQ grill connected to a natural gas line so no need for propane tanks. The lawn slopes down to your very own private dock and brick patio, containing a fire-pit surrounded by four Adirondack chairs. Extra firewood provided. Swim to your heart's content in the pool or in the lake or take a soak in the hot tub. Paddle out in our canoe or kayak and try snagging some brown trout or bass (fishing rods not included). Plenty of room for a large extended family or a group of friends. We are pet friendly but unfortunately very allergic to cats, so pups are welcome. Please add them to your reservation because we do charge a fee for pets. Two level colonial with over 3,500 square feet of indoor space. Highlights: Bedrooms have been freshly gut renovated on this Lakefront Colonial Charmer. New hardwood floors and whole home has been freshly painted and furnished. The newly-renovated gorgeous eat-in-kitchen is rustic and made for creating large meals. The views of the lake from the kitchen, master bedroom, family room and deck are one of a kind. Toss a log in the fireplace or in the fire-pit by the lake. Grill up some BBQ on the grill outside on the deck while your kids splash around in the pool. Stay warm under the heat lamp in the winter. Watch movies, play Xbox, Nintendo Wii, billiards, ping-pong, whiffle ball or grab the spike ball set in the basement game room. From taking in the views and dining opportunities of the Hudson Valley, to hiking, canoeing, kayaking. shopping at Woodbury Commons, farm visits to Blooming Hill Farms or Bellvale Farms Creamery, Art at Storm King Art Center, visiting West Point (19 miles), Harriman State Park, Bear Mountain, or Sterling National Forest, Tuxedo Ridge, Mountain Creek or Mount Peter for family skiing, there are no lack of activities for EVERY season. With it's expansive space inside and out, we welcome neighborhood respectful fun. Guests have the full house and interaction with owner is on as-needed basis. Access to the home will be provided via a unique code to access the digital keypad on the front door of the house. This is a residential lakefront neighborhood. People are respectful and hardworking and we love and respect our neighbors. Please respect that we do not permit any loud music after 10pm and no parties. There are two nearby Metro North stations, Harriman and Tuxedo. The Shortline Bus travels from Port Authority in NY to Monroe. The driveway has plenty of space for up to six cars and possibly 2 more. The nearest restaurant is a 1/4 mile away on the same lake and is a great Mexican lunch or dinner spot. Many additional restaurants in Monroe and Warwick are 10-15 minutes drive away. Even more restaurants are located in the Upper Greenwood Lake Community which is a quick 10 minute drive, less than 6 miles away. The Hudson Valley has a ton of local food options that you will love. Local Taxi companies (Geo Taxi 845-213-5639) and Uber/Lyft ride-share are available. We have a pack and play, baby sound monitor and booster seat plus some toys and games. We also provide a divider to keep your babies safely corralled. If you need additional baby gear during your stay, you can rent cribs, car seats, strollers, toys and more from BabyQuip! Please also note that the pool is heated with an electric heater which can only work when the ambient temperature is consiustently above 55-60 degrees. We cannot heat the pool when the weather does not cooperate. There is no propane heater. There is a skimmer hanging on hooks near the pool to allow our guests to clean the pool during their stay. Our family very much enjoyed a recent long weekend getaway at this beautiful, clean and well-stocked home on the lake. We took advantage of using all the great amenities: hot tub, pool, game room, canoe and kayak. The beds were SO comfortable!!! There are restaurants and shopping areas not far away, so it’s an ideal location for a vacation spot. They allowed our dogs to join us which was such an advantage as well. The outdoor living space like the back deck and swimming pool were great bonuses, with beautiful views of the lake. The location is also very well situated to enjoy lots of activities in the area. We took our kids to LegoLand (15 min drive) and Storm King (25 min drive) during our stay. This is one of the best stocked house rentals I've stayed at as well: there were shower products, coffee pods, condiments, plenty of towels, anything you could need was on hand. The house was great for five kids (5-9) and four adults. The kids really enjoyed Legoland which was a quick and convenient distance away. The adults loves the lakeside fire pit and the hot tub. The house was incredibly clean and very well stocked. It was great not to worry about bringing too many household items or rushing around with a difficult checkout, the house was so well stocked we didn’t need to bring much and checkout was incredibly easy. This place was beautiful in the fall and I imagine it will be even more amazing in the winter. The house was homey and cozy, with lots of nice places to hang out with the family and lots of space for the kids to play in. Sitting in the hot tub while it was almost zero degrees, enjoying the view of the lake was so relaxing. Home was very clean and communications with the owner were so quick and easy. This was also perfect for day trips to Legoland and Woodbury. All in all this made for a perfect weekend and the only downside was that our stay had to end! Really great house. Plenty of room, super clean and loads of amenities. The perfect covid getaway from the city. But what makes this place special are the hosts - Dyer and Ilya. There was a day's worth of firewood next to the fireplace and a basket of treats when we got there, plus many more thoughtful touches. Plus, they were very responsive whenever questions came up. The owner Ilya was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions, providing good information. The peaceful lake view is just beautiful . We played lots of pool, enjoyed making breakfast in the kitchen with assorted pots, pans and appliances. The bed and linens were fresh-clean-fluffy and comfortable.
