"The homely design is very attractive and makes you feel connected. Unfortunately we had a room on the second floor and there was no elevator. When we arrived we were helped upstairs, but when leaving no personel was present. The design of the room was charming but the space crampy, feeling crowded, small, and restricted. The queensize bed stood with one side against the wall and for the person sleeping at that side it was quite an effort to get out quickly. Also the bathroom was crampy. The part of town it was located in reminded us of the Cote d'Azur in France, the beach close by. Transfer to the city center was done with TUS (transporte Municipal de Santander)."

"We had a lovely stay in Santander. The apartment is clean, modern, and spacious; there were 6 of us traveling together, and it never felt crowded or closed in. It's also in a great location, within walking distance to a grocery store, beach, golf course, and some walking paths, which we appreciated. Due to the heat, we slept with the windows open, and it was a bit noisy at night, with considerable car and street activity. Not a big deal if you're used to city life, otherwise I'd recommend bringing earplugs (some of us did and had no problem). Johnny was a great host, timely with communication, and gave us wonderful recommendations for things to do during our stay."
