However as soon as we arrived our host got out a dog fence which he installed on the veranda so he could not get out, and despite being allotted a garden area of our own, its was not fenced and the owners made it very clear that our dog had to be on the lead at all times. Not at all dog friendly. If we had been staying there on our own we would have given it 5 stars but the dog was miserable for the whole two weeks as he couldn't even have a play in the garden. ##### Tracey K.
