Outside could definitely do with a cobweb sweep and the light fixed and the chairs in good condition one was broken when we git there. "We were a family group with a 5 year old and a two year old. The pool is great and we made good use of it each day. The location is rural and peaceful. It's inadequate in every way possible, no proper en suite, awful towels, etc. etc. I do not understand how a family could cope in these so called family rooms. Unfortunately I did not realise it is trying to be a theme type experience, rather than being a 'proper" hotel. We arrived at 5 pm and there was no parking available. The reception, corridor flooring etc. is as scruffy as you can get. I hope this helps to dissuade you from booking...
