"The road was closed on arrival (construction during the week), and the steel plates to make the road passable over the weekend meant every car that passed (pretty continuous) produced a BANG BANG…BANG BANG…etc.Space was not especially clean — underwear and socks in one bathroom, belt on the floor in a bedroom, dirt under every carpet, and stained couch.Plenty of clean towels, though, which was appreciated.We love Charleston and this neighborhood, but this was a disappointment."

"My friend and I enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and each bedroom has its own bath. The neighborhood is great and in walking distance to everything. In the beginning there was a little glitch, I was not receiving emails on how to check in. Once that was resolved everything else went smoothly. We we would absolutely stay at this location again."

"The location of the property was fantastic with only a very short walk to the beach. The property is a little dated and being on the first floor, you can hear the people above you. However, you can overlook those few things because overall, it's a clean place, great location and the property owners were very responsive with clear instructions. We thoroughly enjoyed our first time in Charleston and will be back. "
