"Room and housekeeping A-.
Breakfast buffet is B.
Staff in kitchen C.
Staff in front desk C. There’s a linked shuttle that’s good.
Pool and Fitness C-. No sauna or jacuzzi. Public beach nearby.
Location B-. Once you learn the bus system it’s good. Taxis and Uber is sparse to this location, and can be none late at night. Arrange for a private car beforehand if your flight is early.
Overall B."
"First let me say how wonderful the staff was - in particular the conciergerie, the front door staff, the breakfast staff, and the staff in the cabana/beach area - they really went above and beyond to make my wife and I’s special occasion even more special - the bouquet in the room was magnificent.
However, despite the grand treatment we received, we were a bit disappointed in the room - it had a wonderful view and a nice bed, but considering that we paid a good deal extra for the tower room, it failed to deliver - it really needed a good overhaul - old paint, holes n the desk and doors, lots of mildew in the bathroom, and worst of all, poor drainage in the shower meant that every time we took a shower, it flooded the entire bathroom and we were lucky it did not spill into the room.
So all that to say - great and attentive staff but the room really was not worth the money."
"A well located hotel close to the train station and within easy walking distance of the casino area and the port. Clean modern bar and reception areas and helpful staff. A nice pool area too."
"AMAZING!!! Everything was perfection. My daughter had the best pedicure ever. The staff was great. The food and drinks were fantastic! Location is ideal. We can easily walk to the harbor to meet our friends. There is a shuttle to the beautiful beach club. We will definitely be back!!! We loved it all"
"Staying at Château de la Chèvre d’Or was truly unforgettable. The setting is unlike anywhere else, with breathtaking panoramic views of the Mediterranean that feel almost unreal. Every corner of the property is beautifully maintained, combining timeless charm with impeccable luxury.
The service was attentive yet effortless, making every interaction feel personal and welcoming. My room was elegant, quiet, and perfectly integrated into the character of the village while still offering every modern comfort.
This is more than a hotel—it’s an experience. If you’re visiting the French Riviera, it’s a destination that deserves to be on your itinerary."
