The best time to go to Mollepata is during the dry season, which runs from May to October.During these months, you'll experience clear skies and less rain, making trekking conditions better. The days are generally sunny and mild, with temperatures that are comfortable for outdoor activities. This period is ideal for those planning to hike the Salkantay Trek or explore the surrounding Andean landscapes, as the trails are less muddy and river crossings are more manageable.Even within the dry season, June, July, and August are particularly popular due to the consistent good weather. However, this also means these months can be busier, so you'll want to book your accommodation and trek permits well in advance.
