This hotel is reasonably well situated in lovely Bruges Belgium and on first glance looks to be a well restored older building, however, be aware that the lift is very slow, which they admit. You may also have to negotiate some small flights of stairs, even when using said lift.
Upon our arrival, around 7pm, we were asked by the sole employee to wait for checkin while he served some people in the bar. We waited for 10mins. He was personable enough. The room was very nice with a slipper bath and was very comfortable. Breakfast is served in the cellar and was mediocre, so I would advise against a breakfast package and frequent one of the numerable brunch places nearby.
On departure, the staff member checking us out was business like. She was efficient enough but lacking any pleasurable personality. Perhaps we got her on a bad day but in conjunction with our arrival experience, I would suggest the hotel invests in better staffing and a little more attention towards paying guests.

"Our cabin was horrible! The rooms were not not, spider webs everywhere, bugs on the bed and couch and they cleaning staff left their cleaning supplies in the cabin. And the second night we were the only ones with no electricity. We left a day early! I do not recommend."
