"When I arrived at this property the owner finally answered the door, she said she had no knowledge of my booking. Finally I had to email her a copy of my confirmation. This wasn't made any easier by her statement that "she spoke no English" - the website clearly states multilingual staff. (In fact it later became clear she did speak English). The 'living-room' is actually set out as a shop and did not feel welcoming - I was not invited to use it anyway. The only restaurant in Salives was unable...

"A chance encounter to break up a long journey back from Meribel to the UK. We were very pleased with every aspect of the stay. The place is beautifully decorated and ultra clean. We had some home cooked Chinese food which went down well with all the family, even accommodating gluten allergy. Next time we are passing we would definitely stay again."

"This a special property, quiet, elegant and very spacious. Loved the hot tub overlooking the cows in the field. There is everting you could possibly need. Michel is brilliant, available if you need him and extremely friendly. Unfortunately we had to change plans a little due to the heatwave as we travelled with dogs, Michel was so accommodating and reasonable.Important - beds are comfy and Iā€™m the kind of person who takes my pillow away with me. The enclosed garden was safe for the dogs, the higher riverside garden is also safe if you supervise thereā€™s only two small gaps in where the could enter the river. Kitchen has everything you could need. Definitely recommend Michelā€™s place!"
