Discover this Cévenol house, inside these bizarre chestnut beams, these small windows, these thick walls. It is located in the heart of the hamlet of Saint Roman de Tousque quiet and quiet away from the national road. These magnificent landscapes with its chestnut groves, these sunrise. Tout l'équipement nécessaire est disponible. L'accueil est tout simplement parfait, l'assistance au tél s'est révélée impeccable et immédiate lorsque nous en avons eu besoin. D'une manière générale nous avons adoré le contact avec les propriétaires et les gens du village. De belles randos dans les environs, de très beaux spots de baignade dans les gardons (notamment celui de Mialet), et une mention spéciale pour le magnifique Chaos de Nîmes le Vieux. Enfin, un repas au restaurant du village, la Patache, vaut le détour pour les amateurs de produits locaux. Une maison cévenole spacieuse et agréable. Pas un commerce à moins de 10 ou 15 km, donc bien prévoir le ravitaillement si l'on arrive un soir. Mais c'est juste une question d'organisation. Un accueil chaleureux de M. Garcia, qui cherche avant tout à ce que nous soyons bien, et nous l'avons été. Un grand merci à lui. Ce séjour loin de tout nous a permis une découverte enthousiaste de cette région magnifique et donné la furieuse envie de parcourir le chemin de Stevenson. La terrasse, située au nord, permet de manger dehors au frais. L'intérieur du gîte est "dans son jus", mais dispose de toutes les commodités. La literie est confortable et en très bon état. Vacances reposantes dans cette très belle région de France à l'abri des grands flux touristiques. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par le propriétaire de la maison de Saint-Roman de Tousque que nous avons louée du 29 juillet au 5 août 2017\. Quelques améliorations sont à prévoir dans cette maison rustique de type cévenol très récemment proposée à la location mais l'essentiel est déjà à disposition et nous avons pu passer un très agréable séjour ! Très sympathique, le propriétaire se montre ouvert aux propositions qu'on peut lui faire. Calme garanti, c'est appréciable ! Une adresse à noter dans le village : celle de l'auberge de "La Patache", à l'entrée du hameau, qui propose une excellente cuisine ! En résumé, nous avons passé une très bonne semaine de vacances dans cette belle région qui mérite d'être découverte, en particulier pour son cadre naturel très bien préservé, ses innombrables possibilités de randonnées ou encore ses petits villages et marchés très authentiques ! ##### Daniel F.
