We stayed at this beautiful house for 5 nights and had a great time! The small village is super cozy, and the people are really nice and welcoming!

The property was very comfortable with great outside areas kept cool by shade and fans. The pool was a little smaller than led to believe but it was child friendly and kept clean by the owner. Tina the manager was super helpful and very welcoming. Overall we would love to return to this delightful villa in a lovely village.

Pros: We stayed in Andrews cabin for 12 days, and had a great time. The house is nice and cosy. The view from the roof terrace is amazing, and the outside dining area is a great way to relax in privacy. During our stay we took day trips to Sevilla, Granada, Antiquera, Ronda, and lots of smaller mountian side cities. All together we can only give our best recommendation .

Pros: We had a great two weeks at Jan and Andrews place. Such a lovely couple, we had a lovely evening of drinks and good conversation with them and Douglas the dog of course. The house was great and it was a lovely village, very friendly. Buses were cheap and clean with friendly drivers. Hopefully will return again. A car would be useful if you want to tour the area.

Pros: If you are looking for "Full English breakfast sold here" or ghastly "boom boom" music until daft O' clock in the morning or hundreds of lager louts I would suggest you look elsewhere now. BUT If you are looking for total relaxation where "busy" would amount to the village donkey passing twice through the square then you have found your ideal spot. Absolutely delightful hosts who cannot do enough for you, beautiful scenic views across the mountains to the sea, unspoilt villages hidden here and there and the locals are friendly too! Jan and Andrew's cottage has everything you need including a superb roof terrace (for even more relaxation) or you can hit the "nightlife" in the village square all of 100 yards away with two excellent bar/restaurants to choose from. For the more adventurous Malaga is close at hand as are other pretty seaside villages and towns. This was our second visit and hopefully by no means the last, cannot recommend this highly enough.

Pros: We loved our stay at this wonderful house in Moclinejo. The house was so tastefully decorated. And with everything we needed. We have small children and have to spend quite a bit of holiday time in the houses we rent, and here it just felt like a treat. Jan and Andrew have really done a wonderful job making this place feel so nice!! The outdoor area is very nice and cosy, with possibilites for both sunbathinh and alfresco dining. The roof terrasse has spectalcular view, but it is the whole"feel" of the place that makes it feel so good to be there.Must add: The bedding is fantastic. Proper duvets and very good quality as well. The hosts are raelly welcoming and helpful, and they even gave us a welcome back with wine and other drinks. Moclinejo itself is a very cute, spanish town, with a few nice restaurant less than one minute walk from the house. And also in this little town they have a really nice bodega, and the sweet wine is to die for. I want to go back NOW, And it is really easy to get to beach, Malaga and the airport. thanks so much for everything :) hope to do this again sometime :)

Pros: My partner Jane and I stayed at the property for the month of May. We were greeted by the owners Jan and Andrew who provided a thorough overview of the property facilities and the village of Moclinejo. The property is beautifully presented both internally and externally with a private courtyard and pool area. We had family and friends visit at various times during the month and with the added flexibility of the additional annex we were able to accommodate all very comfortably. The village itself is very charming and friendly with adequate facilities including two good restaurants and a convenience store for essential provisions. A 15 minute drive down the hill takes you to the coastal town of Rincon de la Victoria with its sweeping beaches and many bars and restaurants. The beaches were virtually empty and the town itself is bustling but easy to get around. Our hosts were extremely friendly and very easy to get along with, giving you all the privacy you require while being on call if there was anything you needed. I would strongly recommend this property with its amazing position and excellent flexible facilities. We will certainly be looking to return.

Pros: We spent a wonderful week in La casita azul. The week before we had stayed in a house overlooking Lake Iznájar, so we were a bit afraid we would feel closed in, since this house is located in the centre of a village. Luckily, we were wrong: from the patio you can enjoy some mountain views and from the roof terrace you can also see the sea. The house was very clean and the pool and the garden are perfectly maintained. Jan and Andrew had already provided us with some drinks and food on arrival. They are perfect hosts: there when you need them, but for the rest they stay in the background. On our final evening in Moclinejo they invited us for some pre-dinner drinks on their rooftop terrace and we enjoyed their wonderful stories and their lovely sense of humour. They try to make your stay as agreeable as possible. We think it’s very good that they don’t rent out the second house on the domain to people not belonging to your group. The location is only a 15-minute-drive from the motorway, so Malaga and other places of interest are easy to reach. There is a (very) small supermarket in the village and two bar-restaurants are just around the corner. A holiday home to come back to in the future

Pros: We wanted to say a huge thank you and to let you know how much we enjoyed our visit to Moclinejo. The house itself is lovely. The kids loved the pool (nearly every photo of the cottage has at least on of them in the pool) and we really appreciated the clean, well-provisioned facilities, as well as the relative calm of Dos Chimneas. We let the kids have the main house & we stayed next door, though we cooked all the time in the big kitchen & ate together on the covered dining area. The town was alive with Fiesta on the night we arrived- we watched fireworks through the window from our bed in the early hours! The next 3 days it seemed the place was resting to get over the post fiesta hangover. Nothing opened & there was no one around. In fact we were worried the noise of our kids in the pool was the only thing shattering the peace. We drove down to Benagalbon on our second night to find somewhere to eat and stumbled across La Candelaria, where with a bit of sign language & a lot of smiling & nodding, we enjoyed a lovely selection of tapas dishes. We only noticed a few days later your painting of the front of the restaurant on the landing. The fried aubergine and croquettes became staples of our meals out but were never quite as good as that first time. We enjoyed a trip into Malaga; a day in Rincon (where we took the group shot with the temperature sign to make everyone back home jealous); a visit to the Bodega; a Picasso exhibition in the town’s gallery; a swim in the big pool; a relaxed coffee & chat with Iris & Carson; & meals at both venues in the main square. Next time we hope to venture further afield as well as experiencing more of local culture. The kids weren’t too keen on Malaga cathedral for instance - next time maybe.... I’m sure we’ll be in touch with a view to booking our next visit before long. Thank you again, and really sorry it took us so long to write,

We had a wonderful holiday here with the family. The hosts, Jan and Andrew, were both lovely and live nearby. They were extremely helpful during our stay and even posted back a kindle when we left it behind. They also provided a small food parcel and bottle of wine when we arrived! The villa is beautiful and so is the local village. The courtyard area with the table and pool is perfect for relaxing, and the property itself is really well fitted out and decorated. There is a bar and restaurant on the main square and everyone is very friendly. For anyone that wants to swim more seriously - there is also a 30m local open air swimming pool in the village, which since it was the school holidays, was free to use. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Pros: En fantastisk dejlig bolig.

Pros: We are five oldies who were fortunate to reserve the Casita for 15 nights from Jan and Andrew. The Casita is beautifully decorated and the layout of the internal and external is pretty, quaint, relaxing and welcoming with ample private personal retreat areas if desired. Magnificent views from the large roof top. We enjoyed the village atmosphere and observed the local people going about their daily work and life. Reyes is the village restaurant, where very good local produce is served. It is friendly, informal and gives great value and good food. We enjoyed the mountain trail for our 1.5 hour early morning walks. We drove to the nearby villages to dine on several occasions and completed the historical city tours of Granada and Cordoba. We visited the caves at Nerja. The three aforementioned places we recommend as a must see, while in the area. We managed four rounds of golf at the Anoreta course and enjoyed the experience. Jan and Andrew are the perfect hosts, so helpful when required and to be commended on the content and décor of their Casita. Everything needed for a very comfortable stay is supplied. We thank them for their help in making our holiday adventurous and memorable.

Pros: We spent 2 wonderful weeks in this cozy house in Spanish style with a magnificent courtyard with flowers, small trees, swimming pool and various cozy spots. The location of the house in a beautiful village only 30 min from Malaga is perfect. Our favorite house in the Malage area! As an added bonus - the hosts are wonderfully welcoming, friendly and always at your service (living next door).

Pros: My wife Helen and I first stayed in The Casita in May 2010 and found Andrew and Jan to be enchanting hosts.Due to various circumstances we were unable to return until March of this year and it was as if we had never been away. The Casita is a wonderful place to stay and Andrew and Jan are on hand next door to offer advice and to recommend places to visit but they are never intrusive. If you are lucky you may be invited to go on a morning walk in the surrounding hills with Andrew and his wonderful dog Douglas. And do ask Andrew to show you his studio where he works on his paintings. We waxed lyrical about The Casita and the village to our family and friends and in September of this year we returned along with our daughter and son-in-law.Andrew and Jan were on hand to offer assistance with our luggage and to offer refreshments after our journey. The property description does not really do it justice as the outside area is a joy and the roof terrace has fantastic views over the village and down to the coast. The property is very clean and well maintained and the village square with its pub/restaurant is only two minutes walk. The local villagers and their children use the square as a meeting place and it is always busy. There are many interesting villages in the area if one wants to wander although it becomes a wrench to leave The Casita and the village of Moclinejo. Whilst I would highly recommend The Casita and Andrew and Jan as hosts I hope it will not become too popular as we would like to return again and again

Pros: This house was a lovely place to be. We were lucky in that we stayed for a month, and felt really at home, both in the house and in the village.
