"Staff were very helpful. The room was what we needed for the night. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and wifi was good. My only complaint was that there was a light rapping on our door at 9:30 in the morning. I believe it was a wake up rock. We looked outside to see other room doors open and laundry being moved out. Didn’t really like that. Felt rushed out, thought the check out was 11. No outdoor pool, just to note."

"The room was big, had some updates but a very musty smell. Pool area was nice, hot tub and slide, all working. Renos in progress. Great view for the back side rooms. Highlight was the restaurant Al Forno! Pizza was one of the best I’ve had. Beautiful patio area with great mountain views. Breakfast had many choices and was clean"

"Despite what the motel looked like on the outside, the room itself was very clean, spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with necessary kitchen items, and when we needed extra towels and bedding, they brought it up immediately. The breakfast was reasonable, though, having travelled now for a few days, VANILLA yogurt would be so very appreciated. The oatmeal packages were highly appreciated for someone with gluten sensitivities."

"We could not have been more happy with our stay! Elva was very welcoming and even offered to drop by to recommend some local activities and show us around the property. She was also very responsive to communication. We had an issue with the hot water during our stay, but Elva and Gerry promptly helped with resolving the issue. The backyard had some items and tall grass, but the rest of the property was well maintained with flowers and beautiful views of the mountains. The inside was also very clean. The creek was special as well. There is nothing more peaceful than falling asleep to the sound of a gentle stream. The location is convenient and there are incredible views on the entire drive towards both Banff and Jasper National Parks. There are also some nice places to eat in the nearby town of Golden. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique place to stay. Elva and Gerry have done a great job with creating a welcoming place for travelers to enjoy the beauty of Canada. Thank you, Elva and Gerry, for a wonderful stay!"

"The place was very clean. Lots of pantry supplies but we needed to buy some supplies. The grocery shop is not too far away in Golden so that was ok. We made banana bread there in the breadmaker which was a nice snack for the kids. It does get hot inside during the day so just need to remember to open the windows in the evening to let in the cooler air so the place cools down. You have to take out your own trash and recycling and the shed was a bit tricky to figure out how to open. But Ron provided detail instructions on the place which was helpful. Lots of sitting areas to just chill. A hot tub was provided but we didn't use it. Liked the nice open space on the property. Overall we had a really nice stay. Ron was super responsive. Would stay again."
