Ideal for groups of friends, families, or couples, this charming budget apartment accommodates up to four guests.Blaca beach, also called Limuni, is a lovely beach and bay located just around the corner of Saplunara bay on the very Eastern end of the Mljet. This beach is situated outside of the National Park, hidden in the sheltered bay. It is a very secluded and often deserted stretch of coast, ideal for enjoying the solitude and nature. Also very good for snookering as well as open water swimming. National Park spreads on the western side of the Island (for over 54km2) and offers shady walking or cycling tracks, ancient ruins, and saltwater lakes. Entrances to NP Mljet is in Polače and Pomena.The main places are Pomena, Polače, and Sobra and in those places, you may find supermarkets, ATMs, restaurants, travel agencies, souvenir shops, etc...Island is regularly connected with Dubrovnik with a ferry from Dubrovnik or Korčula as well as a car ferry connection with Pelješac Peninsula on the Croatian mainland.Saplunara on Mljet is a lovely large baywell known for its sandy beaches Velika and Mala Saplunara and Blaca, surrounded by dense pine woods. Our host was actually Mario but Jelena and her crew prepared and assist with our arrival very well. We had a fantastic time, the bungalow is right next to saplunara's wildest beach entrance. A very relaxing place and perfect with the kids as you find peace, sandy beaches, sun and shade. All the ingredients for a perfect family holiday. Mario was a great host, always ready to help and giving plenty of handy tips when asked (medical assistance, best way to Dubrovnik, where to eat...) We loved the quietness of the apartment. Unfortunately we didn't realise that we should have hired a car to easily access the property and get around.
