This is a charming, older hotel in the Lower Nob Hill neighborhood (at least that’s what Google maps calls it). Spotlessly clean and very comfy. Small kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, sink and utensils. Plus a nice neighborhood market next door. And the almost new windows open for fresh air, although it’s San Francisco, so probably a little chilly most days. Great for those on a budget. Front desk folks are very helpful. Loved it…and the two elevators are a step back in time!

its was an okay stay. room was ok but everything is old they say they are renovating but all I saw was constructions stuff all over the parking lot, it was the weekend so they could of been off. But still no places looked like it was being renovated Best thing about this hotel is the location it is great! you get what you pay for!

We loved the historic building and the location. It was close to everything we wanted to do. We wished we could’ve worked in the musical Hairspray but it was sold out on the days we were going to be there. The staff were great at the hotel. As an Elk Lodge member it was awesome visiting the Lodge and Bar.
