This is a bare bones operation. The building and room were tired; bed was worn out. Pillows were new, but hard lumps. We had to ask for TP and a second towel. There is no AC. Fortunately our room was on the North side so the sun did not come in — it was over 100 degrees (38C) the days we were there. The guy at the desk was very nice and spoke decent English. The location is great for walking around town, seeing the sights and the Tour de France which came through town when we were there. We drove up into the Pyrenees one day which was easy and fun.

This hotel is very conveniently located next to Biarritz airport ( just a few minutes walk). The rooms are small but comfortable . It is easy to access downtown Biarritz via taxi...we used Uber . The staff at reception were extremely helpful and very pleasant . It is very good value for money , and a good option if using Biarritz airport.
