Windancer 311 – This unit was recently renovated and easily stands out from other 1 bedroom units in the area! As you can see, reviews tell the true story on how great this condo and management company are! Don't settle on your next vacation, choose a unit that's made the upgrades you want, but still has the relaxed beach feel you travel this way for. Just a few of the recent upgrades include: reconfigured kitchen that was extended for more room to cook or entertain, quartz counters throughout, LVP flooring, recessed lighting, and much more! This 3rd Floor Windancer unit offers breathtaking views, a Gulf-Front Pool, and the classic low-rise Florida resort feel that most people are looking for. Tucked away on east-end of Scenic Gulf Drive in Miramar Beach, most locals and incoming guests have never seen the complex due to its privacy. Once they've stayed in the building, it's hard to look elsewhere due to its convenient location and elite seclusion! You're just over a minute from the Silver Sands outlet mall with over 120 designer outlets and 10 restaurants. Up and down scenic gulf drive you’ll find countless restaurants and local surf shops of your choosing. The building offers a gulf front community pool, gulf front community BBQ grills (charcoal) and this unit offers complimentary beach service (2 chairs and one umbrella set up every day free of charge) available seasonally from March 1st through November 30th. This is a great feature to have so you aren’t having to carry all your chairs and umbrellas to the beach. If you are looking for a smaller complex to relax while still being close to all the action Miramar Beach/Destin has to offer, Windancer is the place to be. The location of this property is perfect. Close to everything. Beach is beautiful and right there, only steps away. Beach service is not explained in advance, reservations are necessary. Unit was clean except for floors. Garbage disposal does not work. A lot of noise from upstairs. The location was great. The condo smelled extremely musty upon arrival. I purchased air freshener and after a couple of days the odor deminished. The king mattress was terrible. It is so worn out...I felt like I was sleeping in a hole. The rug in the living area needs to be cleaned. It was stained especially at the balcony entrance. We used the beach service two days and those guys were very nice. The condo was ok and I would stay at Winddancer again but would choose another unit. The management staff did an excellent job staying in touch and giving information about our stay before during and after. The space was well maintained. We especially enjoyed the balcony with the Oceanview because even it was cool, we could enjoy the sun and be protected from the wind. We've stayed in similar accommodations throughout FL and this one definitely is a contender for the best. would recommend this property. Drive through Rosemary Beach and Alley Beach for a different experience. The outlet mall across the street from the property has almost every store you can imagine and for an upscale shopping and dining experience check out the nearby Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. We ate at Vintaj and Catino Laredo. Both were very good. For an Italian meal make sure you check out Tuscany Italian Bistro very close to the property. ##### Tom B. Reviewer Comments: The complex the condo was located was pretty secluded and just steps away from the beach, which was nice. Upon entering the condo we noticed a musty smell that is typical in older units. The front door was rubbing on the floor which made it hard to open. The floors were not clean at all with sand and hair clearly visible. My wife swept the floor first thing which is not how you want to start a vacation, but we were just going to let it go. The layout was a little awkward, especially the two adjoining bathrooms. The washer and dryer were in a closet in the bath/shower area, and the other closet had no door and the paint looked unfinished. Later we discovered the refrigerator was not cooling properly- to the point we put our milk in a bowl of ice inside the fridge. When it was time to lay down we also discovered the tv in the master didn’t work. This is when I had enough and texted the property manager. The manager responded the next day and offered to have the cleaning service come back out, which we declined. She did have maintenance come look at the tv and he went and got us a new one. The refrigerator eventually cooled down better, enough to deal with. Overall not a great experience in a unit that the pictures were quite deceiving. ##### Tim M. When we arrived, our condo was not cleaned until 5:45\. The mgmt. company was no help other than telling us it was not ready. We met someone on the beach while waiting and he knew the owner. The owner, Caleb, called me and said it would be done very quickly. He also gave us a small rebate for waiting. The mattress on the bed should be replaced. It felt like you were sinking into a hole. Otherwise, the condo was very accommodating. Everyone there was friendly and beach wasn't as crowded as other areas. Well maintained building, unit updated, nice light and bright decor. Kitchen well stocked and condo had everything we needed. Comfortable beds and plenty of room for 3 of us. Management was attentive and helpful, easy to deal with.
