Pros: The unit is absolutely beautiful. It's an impressive space and was very clean. The view out the back is incredible and the location is excellent. The beds are very comfortable and the showers have great water pressure. The property managers are responsive. The beautiful beach is steps away. Cons: You're on the second of 4 floors and will hear noise from upstairs. We unfortunately had a very sick kid on vacation and the noise at night (despite 2 loud noise machines) was very frustrating after 10 pm. The pool is not heated and was absolutely freezing. All of the rooms could use additional blankets. We were very cold at night despite adjusting the thermostat. We actually ended up buying more blankets. Parking is strictly limited so be sure you will only need to park two cars. The place is locked up like Fort Knox, which could be viewed as both a pro and a con, but to go do anything you're entering a code at the gate, a code at the front door, a code at the elevator and a code to your unit. And no they aren't all the same code. All of us found that to be really annoying- especially if your hands are full. Sending and receiving calls and at times texts was an issue for most of us- you will have to go outside for calls. I'm trying to leave a really honest review but I do want to be clear that this is a really lovely place. ##### Sarah T. It was our first time at Gulfview, we usually stay at a condo unit up the street. This is now our favorite spot. The location is great, with beach access only steps away. Great coffee shops and eateries all over within minutes. The condo is spacious and well kept. There was enough room for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 young boys.) Parking was a little hassle but not to bad. The condo was very nice and clean with plenty of space for the kids to play and watch TV. The porch in front was nice to sit and relax. Naturally not having an elevator and having to walk up two flights of stairs to the third floor took time but it was manageable. I loved that this condo was on the end as it had 2 balconies and also had a gate to gain access to it. The bed was comfortable and we had some of the best nights sleep we've had in awhile. The bunks were wide enough that actually 2 people could sleep in 1 bunk if need be. We come to the Destin area regularly and would gladly stay in this condo again! ##### Tim H. It was a corner unit overlooking the pool. Everything was clean & well kept. The kitchen was nicely stocked. It was a very short, easy walk to the beach. The only issues we ran into was there wasn’t enough sheets, blankets, & pillow cases for the fold out couch. The 1 extra sheet & pillow case I found (in a clothes basket) was very dirty & stained. Also, The thermostat wouldn’t stay set on 70\. Often times we would return to the room & it wld be back to 74/76, which is WAY to hot for the beach! ##### Jessica J. Our family never gets to go on a vacation so we were all super excited that a family member was getting married in Destin. There were so many condo options and thought the pics and reviews sounded perfect on this one. The location was awesome...just a short walk across the street and there was the beach. The complex had multiple pools that didn't get too crowded at a time and washer/dryer were available as well. The cons: toaster didn't work (called maintenance & they did bring a new one), screen to back patio sliding door was unattached so bugs came in at night if we wanted to have that open for fresh air (did also mentioned this during my call, but never got fixed), netflix was supposed to be available. They sent someone out, but he said we had a box that wasn't wireless & wouldn't be able to have it. He suggested we call & he said "they would make it right," but that issue was never resolved, cleanliness was lacking too... my husband found a plastic tampon applicator under the bed, dry boogers on the wall in the bedroom (not kidding), a pair of blinds in the living room did not open & close like they were supposed to (not a huge deal, but annoying). We did enjoy our trip and plan on going back to Destin again! But will not book here again :( ##### Larissa D. The location is perfect- right across the road from the beach and you can even see the ocean from the condo. It was within walking distance to some of our favorite restaurants. The two pools on the property were very handy and never too crowded when we were there. We also enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. Overall, this condo was perfect for my wife and me. We went on vacation to Destin with family including one 8 years and one 3 years old kid. It is very near to beach, just have to cross a road and there is private gate to the beach. Check-in/ check-out process was a breeze and for anything required, the team was readily available through text and were very responsive. There were chairs and umbrella available to take it to the beach. It’s on 3rd floor and there is no elevator, and they have mentioned this in description. kitchen was fully equipped with all utensils, blender available. Condo is of decent size with one double bed, bunk beds and one sofa bed. Overall it was very nice stay and would recommend to everyone except person unable to climb stairs. ##### Neeraj T.
