We booked this last minute and were very pleased. The beach cottage is tastefully decorated in beach decor. Everything we needed was available and it was very clean. We knew there was approximately 6-10 minute walk to the beach access. The “Tram” which is a 6 person golf cart worked out perfectly to transport us to and from the beach access. It is well laid out to give privacy with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.The beds are very comfortable; plenty of closet and drawer space; tvs in each bedroom and in large living room. Expect a lengthy walk to the beach from this condo. Overall the place was nice, however it’s feels tired. It’s need updating. The beach is beautiful but this place does not include umbrella and chair set up. Expect to pack or buy everything you need for the beach including towels. Beautiful place. Two downers: 1) You can expect your cost to be double the per night fee because of all the additional charges. 2) There is apparently no off season in Destin anymore. We went April 2022 and just now in the first weekend in October. Traffic is horrendous. You'll wait a long time at a restaurant even in October. You can't go down and have a peaceful uncrowded visit. The house is the closest to the entrance/exit to the Hidden Dunes property and furthest from the beach. Walking to the beach is not that far. We chose to drive and park our vehicle with all our beach supplies in the open parking close to the beach access most days. The place was clean and cozy. Very quiet area. The only very minor inconvenience we came across was there were no comforters on the beds. Which was not an issue for us as we had brought our own covers. The pools on the property were great as well and were never crowded.
