This was a fantastic little condo in the perfect location. The condo was clean the kitchen had everything we needed and the air conditioning worked great. The property was a few steps across the road from the beach which had chairs and an umbrella for us each day if we wanted to use them. we found a great little restaurant called Kenny D's we could walk to and some fun gift shops near by as well. We were able to bring our sweet old dog along and didn't have to leave her behind. People were respectful with their animals and we were so thankful to find a place she could come along. Not overly spacious but fit our family of 2 adults and two tweens just fine. Very clean and nicely updated! Pools at the facility were clean and never crowded. Easy 4-5 min walk to the gorgeous beach was easy for us. If you're hauling lots, might want to get a little closer. The place was well stocked. We were missing a couple kitchen items and they were replaced in two days. The washer/dryer were some of the best we've seen considering how many condo's we've stayed in over the years. Loved the upgrades. Well maintained. The dog loved the patio with the ceiling fan to keep him cool. Looking forward to our next visit in October. If all you're really interested in is being a couple of blocks from the beach, there's lots of places... keep looking! We were interested in our lodging as being part of our stay at Miramar Beach - this place simply did not contribute in any positive way (despite the price we paid to stay here). Nothing "beachy" about the unit at all - paint pealing from the ceiling and doors, the rug in the living room was worn to threads in multiple places, under the couch was a giant cockroach that had obviously been there for a long time, dirty pans in the kitchen (cleaning is an issue), virtually no starter supplies offered (one garbage bag, zero coffee filters... not even an extra roll of toilet paper - really?), light bulbs burned out AND simply missing from their sockets, fickle appliances that failed more than they worked - a frustrating stay overall. We did contact the host regarding these issues and received NO response from them at all. It was in a nice location, but if you don't care about the facilities... there IS a Motel 6 a few minutes away (just saying). ##### BARRY b. We had everything we needed as far as utensils etc in the kitchen even though we didnt cook ! the pool was awesome, both of them! I agree with previous posts that the mattress needs to be replaced , not very comfortable at all. With 40 units in each condo building, it could get a little noisy w/ adjoining neighbors above and below. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Destin. Will return to Destin again, but would rather stay in traditional condo units rather than 4 floors of condo units! ##### PATRICIA O. Had area for dogs but no waste containers for doggie deposit. Constant running of children above us. Very well equipped with great appliances. Multiple TVs so everyone can watch something different which is great when it rains! The only thing that can improve is the cleanliness. The floor did not look like it had been cleaned in a very long time. We usually do not wear shoes inside the house but we had to here as our socks became dirty within minutes of walking in. Also, every time the a/c went on there was a strong musty smell coming out of the vents. Thankfully it wasn’t hot so we did not need to turn it. ##### Camila P. This condo was perfect - clean, inviting decor, full kitchen with all items needed and more for preparing meals if that's your preference. We loved that within two minutes of leaving the condo, we were on the beach sinking our toes in the soft, white sand. We brought our two small dogs (a Yorkie & Chihuahua) and it was wonderful to travel with them and enjoy daily long walks in the Miramar & Destin neighborhood. A lot of families with dogs - it was so fun! Thank you for a wonderful week in paradise. We finally experienced the Destin area and will be back - hopefully soon! ##### Connie H.
