We had a great view of the ocean, we managed 6 people with no problem, and it was in perfect walking distance of some really good restaurants. We ventured out a couple of times during our visit and everything was very nearby, but if you prefer to stay within walking distance, you will not be disappointed. The condo was exactly as listed. The kitchen and washer and dryer was a huge plus with staying so long. We flew our new airman in from California to spend Christmas with and enjoyed the balcony and views of the beach. The second floor allowed us to have amazing views and be able to see dolphins swimming off the beach area on Christmas. We appreciate the hospitality and would recommend to others. ##### Bryan E. My husband and I stayed with my 83 year old mom and 15 year old son. This was a perfect location and accommodation for all ages! Located just across the road from the beach, it’s just a quick walk to the sand. There is plenty of comfy seating on the balcony to enjoy a perfect view. The unit was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Beds are comfy. Minimal wear and tear to the furniture, as expected. Owner was very responsive to questions and pleasant to speak with. Very clean. They have thought of everything you will need even down to a curling iron! We didn’t cook anything due to the fact that there are enough restaurants near the condo but the kitchen looks to be fully stocked! Make sure you wake up early enough to watch the dolphins every day! This was our first time to Destin area. Our family had such a wonderful time!!! The location is AWESOME! I’d bring a wagon, beach chairs and an umbrella. The condo was super clean and everything provided. They do state in advance to bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and dishwasher soap and laundry detergent. They give you a starter pack. The host is very friendly and responds within minutes with any questions. We had no issues, just a fabulous time. This is the first time in this unit. I wanted to love this unit as the reviews when we booked were great. When we arrived it was very nicely decorated and the bathrooms were spacious and beautiful. We appreciated the ice maker in the frig and the newer washer and dryer. 2 days into our stay an issue did come up. I'm sure it's the same one mentioned in a review 2 weeks prior to our stay. I contacted the owner and he did respond. There was not much he could do to remedy the situation immediately which we understood but it did cause a sleepless night and some frustration during our stay. We enjoyed our last 2 days however I was surprised we were not contacted with any follow up during the last few days to check on the situation or give an update. If the issue gets completely resolved I would stay here again. As for the property itself, we stay at Majestic Sun for the views, convenience of beach access, and proximity to shopping and restaurants. The A building only had one out of three elevators working on Saturday during check in which was causing a lot of people a lot of frustration. Luckily this unit was on the second floor so we used the stairs. Hopefully the management (obviously not the owner's fault) will fix this soon, as only one elevator was working through our entire stay. ##### Rebecca B.
