"Location, Location, Location!" This stunning luxury remodeled 2BR-2BA condo at Heron Walk offers it all. Walk to the sparkling blue swimming pool at the new aquatic center. The tram will take you anywhere on the resort or take the 4-seat golf cart for a short spin to the beach! All that the Resort has to offer is yours - the sandy white beach, swimming pools, tennis, golf, bicycling, catch and release fishing, shops, restaurants, and more.

“Sunny, bright, and trendy” describes this completely renovated condo that sleeps six guests comfortably. The spacious family room features a sleeper sofa, a flat screen TV and plenty of comfortable seating for everyone. Just a step away is a screened balcony that offers a peaceful, distant view of Choctawatchee Bay across the saltwater marsh.

Our updated kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare meals for the whole group! The dining table seats four guests and there is additional bar seating for two. Outdoor seating is available on the screened porch. The sunny master bedroom features a king bed, an HDTV, and generous master closet space. Adjoining is an completely updated master bathroom with large walk in shower and separate double vanity. Our guest bedroom offers a king bed, a large walk-in closet, and an HDTV. There is an adjoining updated full guest bathroom with a new bathtub/shower combination. A full washer and dryer is conveniently located near the kitchen, and wifi is complimentary. Easy parking available right in front of the condo.

Great Property for Families!

Our family had a great timing staying at this property. Beautiful view of the Bayou from the back porch! The resort has a lot of amenities and activities for families. Our kids enjoyed riding in the golf cart provided with property, and we could easily take it everywhere. We drove it to the beach, Baytown Warf, out for dinner, and even to the movie theater. The Property Manager was very helpful, and contacted us to make sure everything was good upon check-in and arrival. The property was clean, in good shape, and had newer modern appliances. We vacation in this area often, and it was nice that this property had a slightly larger primary bedroom/bath than other properties we’ve stayed. Overall it was a great place for our family vacation.

Cozy family retreat

Visited this condo with my husband and our adult son. Absolutely perfect space for the 3 of us. The condo had everything we could need (pots, pans, silverware, glassware, etc.). Wonderful view of the bay! Neal was so welcoming and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Easy access to everything

The simple fact that the rental came with a golf cart sold us. We didn’t have to use our car at all during the stay since the golf cart could literally take us anywhere. The beach was only a mile away and so was the closest grocery store. Definitely will be booking again!

Fantastic condo

This condo is in a neutral location to the beach and to the village. Access to the golf cart was definitely a game changer! The condo is very nice! Beautifully decorated and the beds are extremely comfortable. The property manager was easy to contact and very responsive to any of our questions. Fantastic family vacation! Great place for vacation. The condo is like brand new with parking right in front. The beach is with white sand and very clean. It was fun to drive the golf cart and it takes only 5 min to the beach. Parking was always available. The property manager Neal was great, always available on the phone and had the answers of all our questions. We will come back again next year.

Overall great location and the property was very clean and comfortable for our week stay.

We were able to rent this condo when our original rental fell through because of a bug issue. We were pleasantly surprised with how clean and well appointed the unit was and the property manager was great to work with. Golf cart was a great way to get around to the beach or pool. Only downside is that there were no beach towels and only 1 beach chair.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Don't bother with this unit. There are wonderful places to stay in San Destin - this isn't one of them. We had constant maintenance issues. It's a dark unit and the only real window is in the main bedroom, but you can't see out of it because the seal is broken and it's fogged up. Very loud - not a peaceful unit. Not recommended.

The location is ideal for golfers and beach goers. The unit itself was a bit of a disappointment. Recently remodeled maybe, but issues were encountered. Upon arrival we did a walk through. There was a hole in the wall of the front bathroom. Lights had burned out light bulbs. Master bath bath drain was broken, fan/light combo had dead insects and dust evident. The bath tub still had hair in it from a prior guest. Master bedroom closet was strewn with old window treatments, a vacuum, a large dresser and bedding making use of the closet limited. Access to the patio doors in the master bedroom was blocked by a large, well worn recliner. There is cable tv in all rooms but the cable box in the living is located behind the tv so in order to change channels you have to get close to the tv. Coffee tables and furniture in general was dusty. The neighborhood community pool was available but water conditions were far less than inviting with water very “milky” and not anything we wanted to subject ourselves to. The golf cart would be nice if repaired but there seems to be an electrical issue in the key switch as the headlights and reverse gear act up routinely and you need both. If you want to stay in this area, find another property if you can. If you don’t mind less than “A-1” conditions, your on your own.
