It was a first-floor unit right on the beach with a small patio. The bed was very comfortable. The texts with the lockbox number were great and the check out information was helpful. We arrived a couple of hours early and were allowed to check in early. An added bonus were the umbrellas and beach chairs that were put out every day. We hadn't expected this. The man who did this every morning, Jessie, was very nice. We gave him a tip on our last day. We were not sure what the protocol is for that. Our feet were black after just a few minutes of walking barefoot around the condo. The plastic mattress over, I understand is necessary to protect the mattress but there has to be a better way!!! We nicknamed the bed “the diaper bed” because every time you moved it sounded like you were sleeping on a diaper. The baseboards were caked with dirt and hair. Old hairs stuck to the floor around the corners in the restroom. Lights were covered with grime. What looked like a booger was smeared on the wall in the restroom. The couch and chairs were filthy. Mold all in the shower. Air vents caked with dust. I’m having to revise my post before they’ll let me submit to not include the amount of the cleaning fee, but for the amount they charge for a cleaning fee I would expect more of a detailed clean. It’s an older space, but It felt like we were living in someone else’s filth. The waterproof mattress cover sounded and felt like we were rolling around on a tarp. No response to the message or pictures I sent to the contact on VRBO upon arrival so I’m assuming this is normal for a stay there. Two days later, they did respond to the fact that there wasn’t a remote for the tv and brought us one. Not the worst place, but I can’t say I’d return. ##### Heather S. We loved this one-bedroom condo! It was perfect for my husband and me. The location was wonderful! The beach is beautiful! We really enjoyed the daily beach chair and umbrella set up. Condo has its own private entrance and is literally steps to the beach! Super close to the grocery store and restaurants. We took a short walk on the beach to the Surf Hut for dinner one night and during the day to get beverages. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we would definitely stay again!
