Whittaker's Motel & Historic Bunkhouse

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely quaint motel ….perfect place to stay for the short 5 minute drive to the entrance to Mount Rainier National Park. We hiked the park all day and only needed somewhere to sleep and grab a quick bite to eat . The on site cafe had lovely coffee/tea/breakfast and snacks to take for lunch in the Park. Definitely appreciated the affordable rooms they offer here and we would definitely stay here again. If I had to mention one thing ( just coz the App asks for it) we would have liked to have had a small fridge in the room to keep milk/yoghurts/beer cold. The larger rooms do have one , we stayed in a small twin room. (#11)"

"Accidentally booked the room with the shared bathroom and shower but that was my fault. There are rooms with it’s own private bathrooms. For a historic building from the early 1900s. It was well kept and restored to the time period as much as they can. The view of mt rainier from the porch was beautiful, a nice place to enjoy a drink. Staffs were friendly and helpful. There is no wifi in the inn but you don’t need wifi, just un plug and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Would definitely stay here again when I’m back to Mt Rainier."

"Great place to stay! It is less than 10 minutes to Mt. Rainer NP entrance. Very clean and nice inside. Well stocked with everything you need - and more. Perfect with kids too. The outdoor area is also nice to have - fire pit, hot tub, deck, and picnic table all came in handy. We would definitely stay here again."
