With the conveniences of home, privacy on 2.5 acres, and great indoor and outdoor spaces and amenities, Pursuit of Happiness is wonderful for families and friends. Follow the tree-lined roads to your secluded Pursuit of Happiness, where you'll enjoy relaxing afternoons by the wood-burning fireplace and big screen TV in the living room. Easily prepare meals in the cabin's fully equipped kitchen with your pup at your feet as you cook. Guests can retreat to the bedrooms for some rest, spaces that feature log furniture, natural hues, and a nice mix of bedding (including 2 king beds and 1 queen bed). This is a great place to stay if you are bringing your pup. We really enjoyed the fact that the front porch was gated, as well as the two back decks were screened in and safe for our dog to roam around and not run off. The only thing that would have made our dog's stay better would be a patch of grass. She's a bit of a diva, so using the bathroom in rocks was a little challenging. The drive in is a little scary, so definitely drive an SUV or truck. The fact that each floor of the cabin had a living space to lay around was fantastic. We especially loved the downstairs TV room. The bedrooms were plenty spacious for us. The brand new hot tub was great! And don't be surprised by the green water-- that's normal well water. The cabin is very large and extremely well equipped! We loved all of the porches and the theater room! We were about 20 min from town but we didn’t mind-we loved feeling secluded! My only negative if I have to pick one was having to go get the key and then drop it off as it was about 20 min out of our way...it really wasn’t that big of a deal but other properties have had lock boxes which just make it a tad bit easier! Again it definitely didn’t hurt our experience it was excellent! The hosts have thought of everything! ##### Tiffany C. The home theater room got a lot of use. We really enjoyed all of the decks and nice walk around the circle. Great area as well. Blue Ridge is a great little town and lots of great fly fishing streams relatively close as well. Hope to stay in this comfy home again sometime. ##### Jethro F. I've been going to the mountains for years and I've never had a cabin so well stocked with towels, dishes, water, coffee and wood. Wish there was another way to check in to get the key instead of having to go to the rental site. It was out of our way to get there and then back track to get to the cabin. ##### pat V. This property has something for everyone from the beautiful theatre room to the owls nest. Every room and every floor has stunning views and cozy furnishings. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this cabin for a girls weekend and it was perfect!! There were 8 of us and everyone had plenty of space. The cabin was clean and very well stocked with everything you would need. We had a great time in the hot tub and they also have an amazing movie room with tons of movies to choose from. Another favorite was all of the porches. We loved sitting out on them in the mornings and looking out at the mountains. I will say that it was a bit of a scary drive getting up and down the mountain in a 12 passenger van, but any other car should be fine! Also, if you're planing on cooking with a lot of people beware that the kitchen is not very spacious, but it worked fine for the 8 of us. Also, if you stay here, keep in mind that the neighbors do not appreciate it if you drive the opposite way through the loop. We were not aware that the road loops around, and one of the residents was slightly upset that we went the opposite way back down since it damages their road. ##### Rachel M.
