Beautiful Mountain Cabin w/ a wall of windows & 2 spacious outdoor covered porches to enjoy a year round view of a mountain across a pasture w/ 500 feet of frontage on a bubbling creek! Kids & dogs will enjoy a dip in the creek or playing in the field, while sighting a family of deer that frequently visit! Private, yet close to everything Blue Ridge has to offer! Located just 15 mins from Downtown Blue Ridge & Murphy, NC (only 24 min. to Harrah's Casino). Only 20 mins to McCaysville GA and Copperhill TN! 10 mins to beautiful Old Toccoa golf course & restaurant! Blairsville GA and Vogel state park are just under 30 mins away! I offer a 10% discount for stays of 7 nights or more! The space From the moment you pull up, you will sense the tranquil beauty this home and property have to offer! When you walk through the front door you will be greeted with an abundance of natural light streaming through a wall of windows that look out to the large pasture and nearby mountain. This main living area has comfy oversized chairs that face the view and a 55 inch TV hung above the working gas fireplace. This open floor plan with soaring wood ceilings has a large dining table with seating for 6, plus an island with additional seating. The updated kitchen is beautifully done with all new stainless steal appliances and granite countertop. Dedicated coffee area has a Keurig with coffee pods, cups, sugars, and creamers! Living area opens up to a large, covered screened in porch where you’ll find more finding space with a large table that has seating for 8! There is an abundance of comfy outdoor furniture and an oversized game of connect 4\. Both porches have string lighting for the evenings! Cabin is ideal for families with two separate living areas and two covered porches, 3 master bedrooms, a double bunk room, an office space, and a queen sleeper sofa in the downstairs living area. The downstairs living area has another 55 inch TV, lots of games, and a foosball table! There are two sofas for seating, including a queen sleeper sofa. Large glass doors lead out to the covered ground-floor porch with adirondack chairs, corn hole set, mounted ring toss game, hammock, and an outdoor regulation sized ping pong table! Plus a new blackstone grill! Don’t forget to cozy up around the outdoor fire pit just a few steps from the back porch!!! \* Make sure to check out my guestbook at the cabin for a list w/ addresses of the many nearby family fun activities, hiking trails, yummy restaurants, breweries, and wineries! Bedroom 1 on main floor: Cozy queen bed with mounted TV and doors that open to the screened in porch space w/stunning view. Main floor bathroom is located right outside of this bedroom. Bedroom 2 downstairs: Comfy queen bed with view to the lush pasture and trees, beautiful rustic cabin decor. Full bathroom is located in hallway between this room and bunk room. Bedroom 3 downstairs: Cute bear inspired bunk room w/ two bunk beds (4 twins total) and a magnetic dart board. Downstairs living area: Queen sized sleeper sofa allows for more sleeping space for guest if needed. Extra bedding is provided. Bedroom 4 loft: Queen bed with memory foam mattress and a futon sofa. The loft also has an office enclave space separate from the bed space, closet, and en suite bathroom. Oversized laundry room: Located downstairs and has medium sized dog cage. New stainless steel washer and dryer with detergent in cabinet. Guest access The gravel road leading to the home is easy to navigate and 4 wheel drive is NOT needed. Plenty of parking in the paved driveway right in front of the cabin. \-Please note, if you are bringing a dog or 2 (I may consider 3 dogs on a case by case basis and for an additional fee), they must be up to date on flea preventative and up to date on all immunizations, as well as potty trained. \-Only up to 12 total guest and this includes infants and children. If you are bringing infants or young children there are stairs on this property so we recommend putting up the baby gates that are available at the cabin and also recommend close supervision of your infant/ young child while staying, especially on the 2nd story porches and stairs! \- No parties! No smoking of any kind! If you are looking for quiet and peace, in a beautiful setting, you have found it! The property is gorgeous and extremely well maintained. The owner was great to work with and was available right away with any questions we had. The dogs LOVED the property to run around and jumping into the nice clear creek. Had a great time sitting by a nice fire at night also. This was the most perfect getaway we could have ever asked for! This property is absolutely beautiful, I cannot speak highly enough of the view and feeling of peace this cabin evokes. My husband and I along with our parents absolutely loved this cabin. This is our 3rd year to visit Blue Ridge area and this is by far our favorite cabin! We brought our 2 dogs and they loved running around the yard, yes a huge area and the creek. I think we spent most of our time just relaxing on the screened porch. Thank you for a beautiful cabin. I visited with my husband and two children aged 8 and 6 for a week. We had the most amazing time - our daughter wanted to move in :) The creek on the property provided hours of fun and when the weather turned cold then we enjoyed the space and beautiful views from inside the cabin. We also enjoyed the wonderful foosball table and fire pit in the cooler weather. Place was clean and well equipped, had everything we needed. Also only 15 min to a very well stocked Ingles. On top of all of this, the host was absolutely wonderful to work with. This alwasy just has such an impact on the stay as everything was easy and she was very helpful and responsive with any questions we had. We had an awesome time at this property. The home itself is beautiful. It was spotlessly clean upon arrival. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay pleasant. Furnishings are quality throughout the home & beds are comfortable. WIFI works well, I was able to work one day from the home, taking several video calls & attending virtual meetings. All TVs in the home are smart, just log-in with your Netflix, etc. credentials and you are good to go. Our dogs loved romping on the large well maintained lawn & splashing out back in the creek. The owner responds quickly to all questions and could not have been more helpful and kind. We are longtime VRBO customers, and this owner made this experience our best yet. My family - husband, 2 kids (in college), and their 2 friends traveled from Orlando to this beautiful property. If you want seclusion, you will not find a better location! It is a huge 4+ acre property that offers complete peace & relaxation. Our golden retrievers had the best time of all! The creek and acreage kept them happy and busy the entire week. Miranda, the owner was wonderful. She was more than accommodating and promptly responded to my texts. The house itself is exactly as it presents in the pictures. Very clean, lots of open space, and the outdoor screened in porch was perfect for early morning reading and nightly family game time. My only regret is not being able to stay longer! There were 2 things I can share that others may want to know 1) The loft bedroom is truly a loft and does not offer much privacy - having a bathroom up there is great though and 2) The water had a sulfur aroma - but nothing horrible. Offered early arrival, and after an overnight power loss she offered extended stay at no charge. Nicely designed and decorated cabin for our large group. Beautiful big scenic windows including stained glass in the loft. Comfy beds with all the typical amenities and fully stocked kitchen. Our fave spot to unwind was the huge screened deck with several seating areas and peaceful string lights. Unfortunately it rained our entire visit so we couldn’t enjoy the huge private property with fire pit and creek. But we made the most of our family time with 7 adults, 1 infant and 3 dogs. About 20min to Mercier Orchards and Blue Ridge. Only complaint was the well water smelled of sulfur. Owner was genuinely apologetic, saying they’d had it tested for toxicity and would follow up on a recently installed system that was supposed to eliminate the odor. We will gladly return to this cabin if the sulfur smell is fully addressed. ##### Trudy D. The cabin was easy to find. Check in was easy. The cabin was very clean. Plenty of towels. Supplies such as dish/hand soap, toilet paper, trash bags, detergent, etc. were all provided which was much appreciated. The large grocery store is only 15 minutes away. The large flat grassy backyard is great for kids to play. The creek is also very nice for kids and there’s an accessible area making it easy to enter. Even though we had an older toddler with us who can climb stairs well we appreciated having the baby gates and used them for better safety. (However, a baby gate cannot be placed at the base of the lower level staircase though so one would definitely need to be more cautious with a younger toddler or infant.) Fire pit was great with plenty of seating around it, and the kids loved the foosball and ping pong tables. The cabin has plenty of sleeping space for a larger party but still felt cozy enough for our smaller family. The owner was easy to reach, had great communication, and addressed any issues we had.
