Uncomfortable! We've stayed in motels near the expressway better than this. One of us had to sleep on the pull-out bed, which was utterly unusable (thin mattress with metal rods and springs directly underneath). The regular beds were also uncomfortable. The room needed to be rehabbed. This may have been a nice, beautiful hotel years ago, but the rooms and property amenities were nowhere near 4-star quality. Front desk didn't bother to ask how our stay was when we checked out. We will not be returning.

The hotel is beautiful but it's a horrible maze. We had a lovely corner room with a view but to get there required going down 5 separate hallways with a turn down another hallway each time. The doorman outside was AMAZING. Also, although there is a mini fridge in the room there is no microwave so don't expect to heat up any left overs if you bring any back with you.

Loved the property, usually stay at more modern hotels so this was a unique stay and we loved it. Dining on site is phenomenal. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Disliked the very small bathroom, older door very difficult to close, no fan, short toilet, tall cosmetic mirror unhelpful, and very loud plumbing. All those are a personal preference but worth sharing. Photo and description showed a sofa in room, there was a long wall that was empty, perhaps the sofa had been removed. Parking in garage or lot adjacent is inexpensive for downtown and easy to use. Sorry that we missed the puppies that seem to live in the lobby.

Hotel was very nice and close to so many things to do in Milwaukee. Staff checking in was not friendly and seemed clearly overwhelmed by busy time of day on a weekend. Room was not super clean, towels and toiletries/toilet paper could be updated.

Was advised at front desk that there is no Manager on the property and is apparent. Cleanliness is wanting…. Carpets in need of serious cleaning. Had to get a tv channel guide at front desk as none provided in room. Once great hotel is sorry.!

My husband and i stayed at the Hilton Milwaukee city center a few weeks ago and absolutely Loved it so we decided to stay again. This time we booked a suite because we had our two kids with us. We checked in and the staff were helpful, friendly and pleasant. They had great customer service. We were given our room key to room 905. When we got to the room the key didn't work so my husband went down to let the staff know. They gave us another key. We tried it and that key didn't work either. I went back down to let then know. They told me they would send maintenance up. The maintenance guy came up and told us that someone else was in the room. They gave us another room and 4 free breakfast coupons. We went to the other room which was 663. The bed had stains on it and neither phones worked. I called the front desk from my cell phone and the staff were friendly and offered to give us another room. We accepted. It was definitely a inconvenience.

This property was easy to walk to convention center. Only complaint is the road construction. I could find the street in front of hotel because it was blocked this construction signs.

Always been a Hilton fan. Taking into account the property is older- love the art deco design. The lobby, lobby bar and some of the common areas are stunning examples of this style. Bed was clean and comfortable and pillows up to Hilton standards. What I wasn’t a fan of- “limited housekeeping” during a weekend stay. The bath towels are the smallest and thinnest I have ever seen at a Hilton property (or maybe any hotel for that matter). Maintenance needs some improvement. Lightbulb out in bathroom, lightbulb out above picture. Some peeling wallpaper in closet. Toilet needed multiple flushes and sink backed up. Couches in room and throughout property looked tired / dirty and needed a refresh. Will choose a newer property for our next Milwaukee stay.

Very nice and staff were great! Attached to the Milwaukee City Center which worked great for us. It’s an older Hilton, so rooms didn’t have USB ports for charging electronics. That is honestly my only complaint.

I like the convenience of being so close to the convention center. My toilet was clogged upon arrival and never really worked properly the two nights we were there and then fully clogged again the last day so we had to use the lobby restrooms. Room temp never got below 73. Expedia advertised that there would be a refrigerator in my room but there wasn’t one and front desk said not all rooms have refrigerators. The parking garage was full on the second day so my husband had to park elsewhere. Not an ideal couple of days for the amount of money we were charged!

Pricing for parking seemed to be whatever the check-in person wanted to offer that day. I was with a group...all of us booked through Travelocity. I was charged $38/night for parking, another family was charged $16/night and yet another family was charged $10/night. When asked, they just told us it was what it was. Then, I went to park in the ramp in the afternoon of my stay and it was full...they told me I had to go to a ramp about a block and a half away and pay again.

Very disappointing. First I did not realize I booked through a third party so from the start I was frustrated because my Hilton Honors did not count. I actually changed from staying at the Hyatt because I was able to stay in an executive king suite for a similar price at the Hyatt. I have never not had 2 bottles of water in my room. There was nothing. I mean as an honors member I expect those things. I don’t think it should matter that I could not get points. I paid for an executive king suite. There were zero perks with that and I regret it. Staying at the Hyatt I would have had more perks. Also, and to me the biggest issue, was that there are 2 very nice televisions in my suite and not one of them had access to something as simple at Netflix. We had like 40 total channels and no guide to see what was o. Or anything. So disappointing. Some activities we had planned were canceled due to the snow so it would have been nice to enjoy a movie or something. Either way, at the price we pay and the times we live in I would never have thought I would have needed an HDMi cable to enjoy something that simplistic. Also the food at the Monarch Lounge was horrible. Steak bites wrapped in bacon were dried out and tasteless. All around disappointing stay. Sorry Hilton you can do better.
