Tucked away between beautiful forest oaks, Millthorpe Truffles is perfectly situated for a beautiful country getaway. Located only a few minutes drive from the historic village of Millthorpe or an easy 20 minute drive to Orange, the cabin provides the perfect quiet base to explore the region.

During truffle season (June to August), pending availability, you're most welcome to join us on one of our truffle hunts or simply light the fire, get cozy and nestle in for the evening with a glass of local wine.

The whole studio will be ready for you to drop your luggage off so you can venture out to the wonderful award-winning restaurants, world-class vineyards, boutique shops, trendy cafes, national parks, hiking and walking tracks such as Lake Canobolas and Borenore Caves.

The dining and kitchen spaces are appointed with modern appliances and all of the essential amenities you require. Relax in the spacious living area where you can unwind with a movie or enjoy a local wine or two on the sunny patio overlooking the gorgeous tree and truffle fields.

Take advantage of the amazing views and sunsets offered by your own colourful piece of Millthorpe and Orange countryside that surrounds the home.

THE LOCATION
The shack is located a 2 minute drive from the historic village of Millthorpe where you can wander the bluestone-lined streets and find the well renowned Tonic Restaurant, Millthorpe Providore, Golden Memories Millthorpe Museum + more.

The cabin is an easy 20 minute drive to Orange where you will be spoilt for choice with exquisite food, trendy cafes & bars, parks, wineries and cellar doors.

COVID-19:
This property is professionally cleaned by our team of regular cleaners who have all been trained to maintain our high quality standards in alignment with the Covid-19 Pandemic.\

BOOKING ENHANCEMENTS:
Two days prior to your arrival you will be sent a link to a form where you can request some additional items to make your stay even better!
You can request an early check in or a late checkout that we will approve pending availability and the payment of any necessary fees.
You can also request other enhancements like a bottle of locally produced wine on arrival. Let us know if you have any questions about this process at any stage!

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire studio for the duration of their stay

Not surprisingly it has attracted city dwellers and artists seeking an escape to a quieter and more sedate rural lifestyle, while still enjoying good coffee, food and the attractions which a large city can offer.

Firepit: this property has a firepit that you are more than welcome to use if you wish. Instructions are provided in the Welcome Book in the home and also in your check in details closer to your arrival. Firewood is not provided, however, there are several local providers or you can message us ahead of time and we can help you organise to have some available when you arrive.
