Cool spot in the middle of the Short North

First of all no pool. But really no big deal. The wedding on the 2nd floor that we could hear on the 4th floor with loud thumping music was way too much. The wedding had already been told to tune it down and i called and complained as we had to get up early and really werent looking to have a dsnce party in our hotel room 2 floors down. And i actually think after being told again, they turned it up. I wont stay there again.

The staff was top notch. This includes the valet, desk staff and bar staff. The service was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The lobby was spacious and inviting. And the location to the convention center and the market cannot be beat!

Breakfast could use waffle marker if your Breakfast sandwich person. The potatoes on station were cold not sure how it was possible. Always room for improvement.

It serves the purpose but I did not feel this was a Marriott property. The front desk staff were not very friendly. The room amenities were okay- nothing stood out but it served the purpose of being close to the airport.

The price, accommodations, proximity to New Albany were perfect for us! We felt safe, which is the greatest concern when booking from out of town and not knowing the areas. We didn't have a lot of time to visit the vast amount of upscale shopping and dining areas nearby, but for other people, this might be a huge plus! My other comments are to the management only, because we were in need of a safe, clean place to stay, with a bit of food to start our day, and EVERYONE DELIVERED--THANK YOU! I'm only stating the rest to the management in case you want to improve in these areas: If I were in management, I would tell the staff to use eye contact and smile. It was across the board (at the desk and kitchen). No smiles. I didn't pay for eye-contact and smiles--the contract with us was completed, but smiles used to be free, and they set a tone. I actually liked that housekeeping didn't clean in between the two nights (yet you offer it for free upon request). I always thought that was overkill for a two-night stay, and if it saves money, that's great! Thanks again!
